The Gutter People

Review: This company installed gutter which does not drain towards the downspout. This results in pounding water in the gutter at one end where it can't drain out. This has caused water infiltration into our house. I have been calling and emailing this company since 11-7-14 to have them repair this condition. They have made assurance via email that someone would come to the house to repair this but have not done so. Our signed contract states the work will be done in a workmanlike manner. Gutters must slope to downspouts, and to do otherwise is not workmanlike.Desired Settlement: Gutter section slopes and drains to the downspout.

Review: On 5/9/2014 I was supposed to have a gutter cover installed on the gutters at my home. The people installing this showed up at 3:30 that Friday afternoon at began installing their gutter covers on the home across the street. I called the phone number to find out if they were the people because they don't have a sign on their vehicle with the company name. I went across the street to tell them they were working on the wrong house. They had already bent the covers that we're supposed to go on my house. When they got to my house they told me they had to go back to their shop because they didn't have spare batteries for their drills. They left 20 minutes after showing up. I left my house an returned around 7:00 to find they installed the bent up covers that don't sit properly on my gutters. My contract states they were to slope my gutters so they drain properly which they didn't do. The contract also states that they were to clean up any trash they make which they did not do. I found brackets and metal thrown in my yard which I kept. Now, after a month of repeated phone calls and emails, they will not come out and fix their work. I have already paid for this. The owner or manager conveniently left the country a week after they did the work on my home. I'm constantly trying to get in touch with him. On 6/6/2014 he sent an email saying he would have someone come out the next day and no one showed up. On 6/9/2014 he sent me an email saying someone would call me today and that never happened. I'm only asking that they fix what should have been done right the first time.Desired Settlement: I would like the job to be repaired or take off the gutter covers and refund my money.
