I have read the complaint letter from Mr [redacted] and I'm sorry to hear his situationI can only be responsible from March 1, as that is the date we took over the propertyI did speak with his mother and himself about the issue as well as with one of the Attorneys from JAG and stated to the them that I have done everything to satisfy Mr [redacted] He was released from his lease before completing the full term and I went ahead and waived any penalty for breaking the lease before date of completion to assure he's satisfactionMr [redacted] and his family as well as the attorney that called are aware of this resolution The notice his wife turned in to us for turning in the apartment keys is due today the day of June, and for the rent with late fees from the 1st until the end of today Mr [redacted] as well as all other occupants are responsible at a pro-rated rent amount I thank you for your time, and if you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at anytime

In response to Mr*** and His family, we as well would like to end this situationI agree that I did tell him I would release him from the lease that night without a penalty and I honored my wordHis wife turned in the notice not to long after that and we didn't charge him a breaking of the lease fee , but as stated in the previous response they are still responsible for the days they lived thereI didn't remove them from the apartment, and would like all of our residents to stay but it was a decision they made as a family to leave early, and I could not possible waive the breaking of the lease fee and issue free days of rentThe lease does have in writing that you could break the lease if a repair is not done, but there in proceeder that includes certified letters to the office, with that being said we still honored that without the steps being followed, however no where in the lease does it state breaking of the lease and continue to live in the unit with no chargeOur purpose is never to threaten anyway however I must inform all residents of what will happen when rent has not paid and move out with a balance

Revdex.com:

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I've tired of speaking on this unfortunate situation that has caused my family unnecessary angst, stress, and the need to re-locate ahead of schedule. When I spoke to the individual in question, during the second occurrence of my roof leaking uncontrollably, he told me that he'd 'put me out that night', he'd 'let me out of my lease immediately with no penalty', etc - which were all unsubstantiated threats. After that happened, I found the copy of the original lease that was signed in August of 2014. There are provisions that clearly state the tenant, my wife Sandra Pena, can terminate the agreement, immediately, due to lack of repairs, health/safety issues, etc, and I have copies of these provisions as well. My wife put in her notice to vacate, due to said infringements from management, while the rent was current (as the lease clearly states she is entitled to do so). Once I, [redacted], spoke to JAG - the officer told me that the management team owed me money from the time the leak started since it had been over a month and they hadn't attempted to fix the problem. I told him that if I could get my money back, I'd accept it, but my main concern was alleviating the stress I'd been under by dealing with such shady people as well as telling him that I wasn't paying the rent for the month of June. He told me that they had no right to evict me, seeing as how I'd put my notice in and was actively pursuing other living arrangements, they had no right to threaten me with putting anything on someone's credit, etc. He said that if they tried to strong arm me again to come and speak with them as they'd take it from there. I showed him the evidence I had pertaining to this matter as well during our meeting. I've been threatened numerous times with evictions, credit reporting, etc. The manager of River Oaks lied to my supervisors face, as my supervisor admitted to me after we left the office, about how he was trying to rectify the problem yet he was 'waiting on me' to fix it. The roof was so saturated that the wood split, the water was flowing through my electrical vents, mold/mildew accumulated on the floor due to the moisture, etc. Their solution to the problem: spray primer and paint over the hole in the roof (as to which I have photographic evidence of as well. My neighbor, upstsairs, had the same problem with them not handling repairs in a professional way. All of one and a half months to fix the roof in this manner, and they didn't act until after my wife put in the notice to vacate (so they can rent the apartment as soon as possible of course). The manager told us, repeatedly, that he would 'help us out by not charging fees'. How are you helping anyone by lying - she terminated the lease due to their negligence and now he wants to say she owes money. Look at the amount of time in which it took them to even send a response. This reached being ridiculous back in April and here we are at the beginning of July. While I was with the JAG officer, we didn't speak to the apartment complex manager; therefore, I do not know how/when he spoke with them as he stated in his response. Once I told him that my chain of command would get involved, he tried to backtrack and barter so there wouldn't be any ruffled feathers. We have vacated the premises, as stated in the notice, and the keys are being returned Tuesday, June 30, 2015. I'm done speaking on the matter. The lease was terminated, early, due to negligence on the part of management. If they valued tenants and their rent payments, they should handle business in a professional manner and not resort to being 'slumlords'. If you continue to threaten my wife with this nonsense, legal action shall take place.

Good Morning, I Have reviewed the recent information and charges from our end are correct, however I did charge him twice for the carpet cleaning one on 08/31/2015 and the other on 09/01/2015. The total balance was 125.00, but Mr. [redacted] had a $100.00 deposit which left him at a $25.00...

balance. I have spoken with Mr/ [redacted] this morning and have came to an agreement. Once we have a file in collections we let the agency take care of it and I didn't realize the double charge until today once I opened the file to respond to the Revdex.com and Mr. [redacted]. I take full responsibly and have corrected the issue with Mr. [redacted] and the collection agency.

I have read the complaint letter from Mr. [redacted] and I'm sorry to hear his situation. I can only be responsible from March 1, 2015  as that is the date we took over the property. I did speak with his mother and himself about the issue as well as with one of the Attorneys from JAG and stated to...

the them that I have done everything to satisfy Mr. [redacted]. He was released from his lease before completing the full term and I went ahead and waived any penalty for breaking the lease before date of completion to assure he's satisfaction. Mr. [redacted] and his family as well as the attorney that called are aware of this resolution.  The notice his wife turned in to us for turning in the apartment keys is due today the 26 day of June, and for the rent with late fees from the 1st until the end of today Mr. [redacted] as well as all other occupants are responsible at a pro-rated rent amount.   I thank you for your time, and if you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at anytime.

Review: On 5/**/2014, I purchased a $100 gift certificate for my sister-in-law using my Discover Credit Card. My sister-in-law has been a patron of this establishment for many years. On 8/*/2014, she went to use the gift certificate (for the first time) for a $65 haircut, deserving a $35 credit balance ($100 - $65 = $35) on the certificate but was told there was only $80 on the certificate instead of $100, even though she never used the certificate before. She was further told that she owed money for prior haircuts (which is totally untrue, and not even possible because you have to pay in full at the time of service) and the [redacted] said he was going to further subtract some other bogus amount from the certificate. He then took the certificate from her and put it in his cash drawer. This business is FRAUDULENT and has confiscated a $100 certificate from my sister-in-law, for a $65 haircut. We have contacted the [redacted], several times and tried to resolve this amicably, but he has been totally uncooperative.Desired Settlement: $35 merchant credit to my Discover Credit Card
