My customer received her bracelet Monday, March 14. The bracelet was delivered to the address at 3:14 PM via regular US Post with delivery confirmation.
This unfortunate situation is a bit complex and really does involve an error on my part in the correct spelling the first time, as...
well.
When the customer ordered the custom bracelet it was printed on the order from that she wanted the Wide Copper style, (when she really wanted the Thin copper style, I found out later in speaking with her) and for the bracelet to say [redacted].
I read it as [redacted]. It was my error here on the spelling.
She also said that the bracelet was very large. (It was my standard 6 1/2 inch size.) She was upset that the bracelet did not fit her daughter's wrist.
I do custom sizing for no additional charge, but I do need to know this information in advance.
It turns out that her daughter's wrist is petite and so we determined that a 5 3/4 inch size cuff is best. I rarely stock this size of a bracelet at my booth.
I did apologize for the misspelling.
I do have in writing where the order calls for a style different from what she wanted and no comments regarding a much smaller size.
I did speak with her daughter on Tuesday March 15 to let her know the bracelet had arrived a day earlier.
The customer did receive the correct bracelet.
