I am rejecting this response because:First of all I am done arguing with this guy because he is never wrongI am only responding because I feel it should be known that the business in question is a risk to anyone who contracts this LLCMy first proof of this is the FACT that he operates under different namesHe responds here on Revdex.com calling himself The Handiman LLCbut take a look at his invoices (he attached to his response) with a logo referring to the same business as The Handyman LLCI do not know if he has filed a legal DBA or not and I do not particulary care it's shifty in my opinion. When you first meet him he will tell you he is an ex Marine and a good Christian man, how very charmingI have yet to have someone tell me of a good experience with this guyThe Handiman, as he is legally recorded as a limited liability corportation, not Handyman as he puts on all his invoices (seems sneaky right?), avoids discussing matters he knows he is wrong about and keeps saying my parents said they were satisfiedMy question is why he is saying that when he avoided any contact with them and myself for over a month while he had money for a job and he never intended to give back to my parentsI finally reached him in a couple days prior to filing this claim by calling him from a cell phone number he could not identify and he answeredThe Handi(y)man likes to hang up on people but before he did he told me to take him to small claims courtI called back later that day after speaking with several loca lauthorities for advice. I told him I was filing here and that I would be filing the paperwork with Judge *** in small claims courtOnly then when he recieved notification from the Revdex.com did he drop off a check to my parents and said nothing to them about work performed at that timeI feel that would have been a marvelous time to ask about their satisfaction, don't you? Everytime my mother would try to voice she was not happy he would come up with excuses and turn it around on her like he is good at doing and make it somehow be her fault or the toilets fault or the tiles fault it was never his faultBut I digress, I said I was done arguing, I apologiseThe Handi(y)man called my parents on September to argue, after he read the last response from us on Revdex.comMy mother called me upset and I called the Handi(y)man backThe Hand(i)yman informed me he was recording the call halfway through it which is absolutely delightful to me because the fact I told him prior to that, that if he ever called me or my parents again I would call the State PoliceThe initial purpose of filing this matter with the Revdex.com was to get the window money back for my elderly, retired parents that the Handi(y)man refused to returnOn two occasions he referred to having money problemsI do not feel that is an acceptable reason to take money to order a window, cash the check, and never order said window or as the Handi(y)man said never "obtain" a windowThis is actually called FRAUD and he was smart to pay it back because my intentions were to file criminal charges after winning in small claims courtKudos Handi(y)man I will continue to give everyone I meet my honest opinion of youThis is because of the weeks you avoided answering or my returning my calls and dealing with the situation. The daughter is incorrect in most of her complaint and I have never met or dealt with her. Attached is the Estimate/Contract showing I received a payment of $on May to "Order" windows. The date of my response (today) is August 2016, a period of months not
4. Full payment of the initial $plus a additional $for a total of $in the form of a Bank Cashiers Check was hand delivered to Mr*** *** at his home on August 2016. The Handiman LLC did not receive any e-mail or correspondence requesting this refund it was by phone only. I did error on ordering the windows and there was a delay in returning the money to my customer. As a small business there are times when cash flow is limited. I added the extra $as a offer to pay for my error that cause them to not have their windows replaced to date. We completed several jobs as noted with no complaint from the customer upon completion. We repaired the bathroom floor and on the customers request reused the toilet they had(They also have bathrooms) The old toilet leaked around the tank and bowl, we rebuilt it but it still leaked. I suggested a new toilet, the customer purchased the new toilet and called us to install it. It would not fit into the gap between the wall and the floor flange. Not my fault they had placed the floor flange to close to the wall years before with their own remodel. I was asked to find a toilet special sized to fit, in a nonstandard color of bone. I ordered the toilet and before it arrived they called and said they had found one and installed it themselves. I went through the process of returning the one I ordered. I Did Not charge them for the failed attempt to install their first purchased toilet (we reboxed the one they bought and loaded in their vehicle) nor for the time spent finding a special sized toilet and ordering it. I know nothing of ceiling tiles falling down and the deck was not designed for any overhang, her parents were very happy with it so again I am not sure of her claim. As to the floor tiles the customer provided 12"x12" tiles that were years plus old. She did not have enough and provided Linoleum with a different tile design to fill in. The customer was present and decided where she wanted the linoleum to butt up against the 12"x12" tiles and was very satisfied with the finished product. The daughter (complainant) was never present during any of the work performed. I feel "The Handiman LLC" has dealt more than fairly with this customer

I called Michael's office (The Handiman LLC) to schedule an appointment for a Free Estimate to fix a crack in my basement wall Michael arrived on time and e-mailed me my estimate After talking it over with my wife, we hired Michael to fix the crack The worker did a very good job and finished ahead of schedule, which included cleaning up after himself Because the job was finished ahead of schedule, the price of the estimate was cut in half, which was a very good business decision I would recommend Michael and his company to anyone looking to have any construction projects done

This contractor did a nice job with the actual carpentry work. They did everything they said they would do. I feel confident in their trade abilities.
However, it took them a very long time to give me an estimate and to actually come over to do the job.
Also, their labor rate was very high for the area. I thought $80.00 per hour was extremely high. The labor rate was not on the estimate. The estimate was not itemized very well. I had to ask what the labor rate was.

I called Michael's office (The Handiman LLC) to schedule an appointment for a Free Estimate to fix a crack in my basement wall. Michael arrived on time and e-mailed me my estimate. After talking it over with my wife, we hired Michael to fix the crack. The worker did a very good job and finished ahead of schedule, which included cleaning up after himself. Because the job was finished ahead of schedule, the price of the estimate was cut in half, which was a very good business decision. I would recommend Michael and his company to anyone looking to have any construction projects done.
