Review: I placed an order with Happy Chef on June 23 for $33.92 plus $8.95 shipping for a total of $42.87. I did not receive my order for eight weeks. When I did receive my order I was not pleased with the order or the amount of time it took to receive it. I sent an email to Happy Chef on August 20 requesting a refund so I could order a different item. The next day I received an email from [redacted] stating "Items that have not been washed, worn, or customized may be returned. For this order only, we will allow the return of your embroidered coat. Your return authorization number is [redacted]. Please include this number in your return package, along with a copy of your packing slip and return/exchange instructions, and send to the address below". I sent back my order shortly after. September 19 I emailed [redacted] asking when I would be refunded, she promptly responded "A refund was applied to your credit card on 9/10/13". The amount refunded to my account was $18.95. This is $23.92 less than the total I paid. I looked at Happy Chef return policy and it states "A 20% restocking fee is applicable to certain items." I was not informed of any restocking fees and even if I was charged a 20% restocking fee that would only be $8.57. Obviously, none of this adds up. I am very unhappy with waiting two months to receive my order and to only receive a partial refund when there was no mention of it.Desired Settlement: I have already been refunded $18.95, I would like the rest of my refund of $23.95.

This was an error on our part, the RMA was incorrectly filled out. The amount of the credit should have been for the total amount of the original charge. We have credited [redacted]'s credit card for the remaining balance of $23.92 today. It normally takes about 3-5 days for the credit to appear on his statement. The reason that the coat was delayed was because in the request for embroidery, the 3rd line stated 'Red Lobster'. We were uncertain if that meant the Red Lobster logo or just straight line embroidery, so we attempted to contact Christopher by phone on three occasions, 6/27, 7/8 and 7/24. Having not heard back from him on any of the voice messages, we went ahead and did the straight line embroidery and shipped the coat early August.
