This letter serves as a response to the claim [redacted] .I have made an attempt to call [redacted] at the number provided by the Revdex.com The first attempt the phone was answered and then disconnected The second attempt I left a message on the voicemail At this point I have not received a call back from Mr [redacted] .The letter from the Revdex.com is the only reason that ownership became aware of any issue with an employee group text message There are no owners included on the group text message The letter from the Revdex.com is the only attempt to contact ownership with a customer complaint I have no email attempts or phone messages from Mr [redacted] attempting to contact anyone at the restaurant directly The group text message is an unofficial means of communication between employees The conversations that occur on the group text message are not monitored by any owners of The Hard Shell This is not a means for any official communication to managers or owners Employees are responsible for viewing schedules at the restaurant, communicating directly with management regarding shift changes or problems that occur It is our expectation that employees act in a way that stays in good standing with each other, our valued customers and our community The Hard Shell has an employee handbook which very clearly states in the "Harassment" section that harassment "...activities will not be tolerated in the work place It is your responsibility to report such problems to management." The handbook goes on to state in the "Behavior - Conduct - Attitude" section that "disrespectful, rude or unprofessional behavior towards our guests is grounds for immediate termination."
