Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.No they have not resolved with meA manager never contacted me to resolve anythingThey told me to send them a ck for shipping in the amount of five dollars and I would receive a new flat iron then the Representative went against her written word saying it was up to me whether or not to send the damaged iron but they would send in good faith this one time send me a new one after my ck was received and the iron sent to me never happenedThe representative never had a manager contact me nor was I given a name to contact to discuss how this representative went back on her word as the email clearly reads once payment was received a new iron would be sent out thereafterI even called and spoke to a make representative who confirmed there was no need to send the damaged item to just mail the check for shipping and that's exactly what I didAlso she stated she was mailing my ck back after several months of having received I have yet to ever receive back from her or conairI do not call this customer service nor has this case ever been rectifiedI have the email in which she tried to distort the truth and the real email she received because I have the original one sent and carbon copied to myselfTotally unprofessional Regards, [redacted] ***

My response to the complaint was that we spoke directly to Ms***She did not want to send her defective unit back to us so therefore we could not replace itDue to the type of item she has, we have strict guidelines on how we handle these replacementsI apologize if Ms*** is not satisfied with my response. Ms. [redacted] registered to take a training course through our training center. The class she registered for was...

held on 4/15/2015. Ms [redacted] registered for the training via our online ecommerce store on 4/14/2015, on the evening before the class, which was after our office closed. We do not respond to our registrations once the office closes until our business opens at 0900. We would have given her the information regarding prep for the class first thing in the morning.
We only knew of her registration the following morning. The class she needed to take required preparation, studying, completing a written test prior to the day of the class, purchase of the manual. When I arrived to the office I informed the Instructor that M. [redacted] was not prepared to take the course, which I also explained to Ms. [redacted].
Ms. [redacted] seemed confused by the entire process of the course and admitted she didn't know of all the prerequisites involved.
I explained to Ms [redacted] that we would issue her a refund for both registrations, but, there would be some service charges involved; meaning the bank transaction fees charged to The Healthsource. I told her the sum of those fees would be $25.00.
After Ms. [redacted] left our office I attempted put the refund through but apparently there needs to be some down time from the time of the registration fee being paid to when the refund of the course fees are made.
I told my office manager to look into the problem and report back to me.
Sometime passed, I thought the refund had gone through, but later found out from Ms. [redacted] that was not the case. My office manager stated that she had gone ahead with the refund, and documentation showed the funds were deducted from our account via our ecommerce online store.
I found it impossible to communicate with her regarding collection of service fees and chose to just refund her the entire amount.
Ms. [redacted] called and said she did not receive her refund, I told her I had understood that the refund had been placed, which she denied. Through- out this ordeal we attempted to connect with Ms. [redacted] via email, and by phone to see if she saw the funds re-deposited into her account. She would not respond.
I have documentation that the money was refunded.
Our intent was not ever to refund Ms. [redacted] her money; granted there were delays in the process, and we are sorry for that. The refund occurred in less then a month.
As to her accusation that she was never informed of the course requirements; We didn't have a chance; she registered for the course when our office had closed, and she was already at our office, when the office opened. We were not given time to respond.
We do have documentation that we can provide to support our position.
