I have a year old furnace in my house, as well as one in my garage I have been using Castle maintenance for years minus times, years ago, that I decided to try another company (big mistake)The other company put my garage furnace motor in upside down and my house furnace wasn't right either It started sounding louder every time it came on They told me I needed new furnaces, and I couldn't afford new furnaces, so I called Castle Castle maintenance fixed both furnaces and I'll only use them from now on I recommend them, highly

We just had two guys here from Castle Maintenance. The guy cleaning the ducts seemed to work fairly hard but he wouldn't stop commenting on how dirty the ducts were. I'm not sure why he kept commenting on that, as that would be the reason we are having the ducts cleaned! He also told us that $100 to clean our 3 sided fireplace is a really good deal. Usually it would cost $300. He mentioned that numerous times and both he and his partner questioned us as to whether we still wanted it done or not. We had to tell then three times - yes, we want it done. Seriously? If we are getting such a good deal why wouldn't we? I started to wonder if they were planning on doing a hap-hazard job because we were getting such a good deal. The younger guy is the one who cleaned the fireplace glass and it took him about 45 minutes. The glass isn't clean and, that 45 minutes included at least 15 minutes spent on his I-phone! Grrr Obviously $300 is not what cleaning a fireplace should cost, and given than it probably could have been completed in 30 minutes, even $100 is too expensive! From what we can tell the ducts look clean, but then again we are only seeing the first foot or so I"m not sure how to tell if they did a good job of not. The total time here was just over 2 hrs. They cleaned 26 ducts, the fireplace (sort of), and the furnace. I find their work ethic questionable so will definitely NOT hire them again. After they left we noticed they replaced the furnace filter, but didn't throw the old one in the garbage; they didn't turn the thermostat back up when they left, and they left the gas fireplace on! Definitely below expectations and not worth the $390!

The first time they came to my house to clean the furnace and ducts, when I left them for a moment they [redacted] broke a part of my furnace. They left without letting me know this had happened. An owner's family member very kindly came to replace the part his workers broke. [redacted] The company said they couldn't do anything about this. Since then for several years the owner's family member came to clean my furnace and ducts every 2 years. They would come for 30 to 45 minutes or so and get the job done, often placing back the covers for the vertical vents upside down, or forgetting completely to place some of them back, since they were always in a hurry. They also wrote the wrong date on the furnace sticker (2016 instead of 2015). Another company came regarding another issue related to my furnace and when I told them about the work castle maintenance has done, and they checked my furnace, I was told they never cleaned my ducts properly, just very superficially and quickly since they were always in a hurry. This castle maintenance owner's family member also became very very rude when I complained to him about another issue. I am terribly disappointed since I trusted this guy who turned out to be rude and not as honest as I expected.

I have used Castle Maintenance for over ten years, their service and expertise is very good. I have found their service recommendations to be exactly what is needed, no more no less. They set an appointment, arrive on time, do only what has been discussed and leave your home as they found it. I recently had a problem with my thermostat which they had replaced six months prior and without question they returned and corrected the problem without charge (full replacement). I recommend Castle to everyone.

[redacted]. They said my rear breaks were at 85% when infact they were at 10%. Not only are they are not covering the cost which should be covered under warranty, but beyond the cost they endangered my safety.
