I am rejecting this response because:
Before I begin, I just want to say there are countless and continuous ongoing problems with these apartments so please bare with my as I try to explain ALL of them so far. First, my boyfriend and I moved into these apartments mid December 2019. We wasn’t aware that a week later, roaches would be coming out of all the cracks and crannies here. The bathroom, kitchen, cabinets, the closest everywhere. Some have crawled on me, the bed and I even found one in my cereal AFTER I poured it and took several bites. Luckily I didn’t physically eat it. They basically taken over our studio. Took forever for the office to even get pest control to come out and they don’t even come anymore despite the fact a pest control worker told us they will continue to spray once a week every Thursday until the roaches are gone. (and when they do spray it, it makes things worse and there’s just absolute no solution to this problem no matter how many times pest control did come out). We’ve also learned now that our neighbors have been seeing baby rats running around the apartments recently and my boyfriend has as well. The office is basically a pain in the *** to talk to or ask for any kind of assistance. They all seem like they hate their job and don’t care about anyone’s living situation but their own. My boyfriend found a sign on the office door one day about one of the maintenance people testing positive for COVID19 and as he was trying to take a picture of it they quickly took the sign down and replaced it with another before he could and we still have maintenance people doing things around the apartments. If you have an issue inside your apartment don’t bother calling them. We had a huge problem with our ceiling fan and it was hanging from our ceiling from us simply trying to turn the fan on. We called them to ask for assistance because it was a safety hazard (mind you my boyfriend and I live on the second floor). It was literally hanging on a cord and the office refused same day service. We had to call code compliance (first because of the roaches), and to check out our ceiling fan after talking to the office 3 times. After that and being told nobody could fix it that same day, one the maintenance people came in and fixed it AND said whoever put it in didn’t put it in correctly at all. Seems like when they get fined or when code compliance is called they take action that same day. One of the maintenance people had the audacity to take a picture of my boyfriend in his car and NOT tell him what the picture was for. My boyfriend call the office and ask why the picture was taken. He goes down to the office was told because a *** water bottle was by our car that wasn’t ours and told him next time we’ll be fined for it. Guess we can get fined for the wind blowing all the trash near our vehicle and also, the cigarette buds that the maintenance people smoke ALL THE TIME. And not to forget the homeless and drug addicts that stick around the apartments and leave their clothes and trash and drugs all over the place. Why?? Because the gate entrance doesn’t work and is wide open for all to enter at any time of the day. I also forgot to mention, we moved in in December and it is now April AND WE STILL DONT HAVE A *** SHOWER ROD. They told us we can’t install our own shower rod but how many damn times do we gotta ask for it to be done and it’s been 5 damn months since we been here. It’s ridiculous. We’ve been having problems and my boyfriend posted a Revdex.com complaint about them before. Then they thought they was gonna call us after he made the complaint and ask us about our rent and if we know we have a dog and if we paid our dog deposit like duh we know this and you aren’t gonna catch us slippin up if we haven’t done anything. And gonna ask us to not make anymore complaints on Revdex.com because they get fined. WE DONT GIVE A *** DO YOUR JOB AND THERE WONT BE ANYTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. Ever since he made the complaint, it seems like they’ve been trying to get on us for the little things and won’t leave us the *** alone and their maintenance people are scary and cowards. The same worker who took the picture of my boyfriend with his car is recently, the same person who took our trash from in front of our door and told our NEIGHBORS that we will be getting fined for leaving the trash out there. My boyfriend had just put it out there minutes before because he was going to the store and was going to throw it in the dumpster on the way out. Why did the maintenance person have to tell our next door neighbors we were getting fined and we were literally at home when he told them? They’re upset with us about being fined and honestly, I’ll make a complaint every month, *** twice a week if needed if that’s what it takes to get their *** together. The office people don’t ask questions and just assume. My boyfriend today was downstairs with our dog and another dog was down there alone. One of the office people tried to tell him the other dog was his. He told her no, it’s not and that the dog he’s walking is his and she continued to agree with her own thoughts that the dog was his. Assumptions, like the random *** water bottle was suppose to be ours and assuming someone else’s dog is ours is something we don’t put up with for long. We also been noticing a white JMC truck parked backwards in the lot all the time and overnight. Which doesn’t make sense since our car was towed once because it’s strictly INWARD parking only. Now, my boyfriend and I didn’t know that at first and got our car back. But why is it that THIS truck has been parked backwards for about a month now and never gets towed but any other car will. Not sure what type of favoritism this is but it’s not fair that’s the only resident that doesn’t get towed. All we want to do is pay our rent until our lease is over and move and be left alone until then. This place is always falling apart and we always have to have raid in the house to protect ourselves. Pretty sure I’ll be writing another complaint at some point but for the love of God we just want to stay to ourselves without anymore major issues and get the *** out of here.
