January 26, 2016To: *** ***Re: Complaint# ***In response to complaint #*** from Mr*** ***We discovered Mr*** still oweda balance of $on invoice #*** even though the merchandise was delivered in Marchof Unfortunately there was an oversight in our record
keepingUpon discovering theoversight, we contacted the customer to confirm the balance and make payment arrangements.The customer insisted he had given payment in fullWe asked him to provide proof in order toclear up the balance and update our recordsWe waited almost a month for Mr***'s records.When we had still not seen anything from him, we issued a copy of the invoice and balance with anotice letting him know we did need to see the records in order to prevent us from taking furtheractions to collect the balanceAt this point Mr*** called in upset, put a negative review onour facebook page and threatened to go to the and file a complaintHe said he had paid infull and would come in the following day to prove itHe also expected an apology and somethingfree for his time and trouble.Mrs*** did bring in their records of payment, and was only able to provide proof of twopayments on invoice ***The invoice was originally $The ***'s paid $196.25on 12/09/and $on March 10, This leaves a blance of $1705.00.Unfortunately they were unable to show any other payments on invoice ***Mrs***stated she did the $over the phone, so she did not know her balance, however we havecopy of her signed credit card transactionShe then said she must have paid cash, but uponreviewing her bank statment, admitted only $had been withdrawn that monthShe thenstated she did not have the funds available to pay us that large of an amount at this timeSheadmitted her records matched ours and was unable to provide proof of paymentEven thoughMrs *** was unable to show payment for the $1705.00, we still gave her a free trip ascompensation for their time and troubleShe stated she did not want the trip, but maybe adiscount on the money they still owed usShe took the trip in the end regardless.We have concluded the ***'s still do owe The Home Center $We are willing to givethem a $credit off of the balance and settle for $We are only trying to collect ona debt that is owed to us and would like to resolve this matter as quickly as possible.Thank you,Wendy C**General ManagerThe Home Center

Hello [redacted] I talked with you this morning about my customer [redacted]. The problem with the sweating of their new windows is caused by a humity problem im their manufactured home. It could be caused by a heating duct off are loose under the house or a problem with their heater. They had this...

problem before and the windows are not the problem. They told me they dont run their heater at night and only turn it on in the morning Mr [redacted] also so told me the pilot light on their heater was enought to heat their home at night so they dont have to run the heater. Also in the contract it stats The Home Center is not responsible for condensation probems because there is other factors that cause humitity that collects on the windows because of the tempature change between the inside and outside. I gave them litature on what causes humity and told them to have their ducts and heater checked out. I have done windows on 8 other mobil homes in the park and no one else has this problem. The windows are not the cause of the sweating on the inside but something else thats causeing it.You can call me at [redacted]1 if you have any questions.

Window condensationI had a licensed contractor look at my window problem. I explained to him the advertisement I rec'd stated if you have our windows installed, you will not get any condensation on the windows. I sent you a copy of that ad.It appears the window company may be in violation of false advertising. If this is so what suggestions do you have for me?
