[redacted] did purchase a washer and dryer set at our store on 2/12/as she statedHowever, I was not working that day I was however informed of the phone call from her and what had happened the day [redacted] returned to the storeFirst, the day before the delivery, [redacted] called and informed ** [redacted] that the sack kit back ordered and asked if he still wanted the delivery the next dayHe said" yes, it would be no problem"There fore , we kept the delivery as scheduled [redacted] was also imformed, at the time of purchase, that we do not install stack units as they are very heavyShe said that was fineThe boys who work for us, are in fact high school seniors, and have worked here for a number of years and are very capable and polite young menThe $she paid was for delivery and did not included installationThe boys did the best they could with the "very tight" limited space in her home [redacted] was not home at the time, her husband was, and seemed satisfiedWe refunded the stack kit money she paid us, which we sold to her at our costShe tried to get us to pay her an exorbitant amount of money for her troublesIf it was to be so inconvenant to her, they should have rescheduled the delivery until the stack kit came in as her old set was still workingBy the way, sher got the whole set at cost due to our inventory clearence sale, but no matter what the coust, we always treat our customers with respect and kindnessThis is our 21st year in business, and we have belonged to Revdex.com for many yearsI do believe we had one other complanint in 2007, fived by a [redacted] ( [redacted] ) and we were found not responsible for any problem- the manufactor was, and the case was droppedWe have always treated all our customers right, and espcially in these economic times, we would not do anything on purpose to loose a customerI am sorry [redacted] got so stredded, however I really do not believe that we caused it Sincerley, [redacted]

First, of all the message was left on my husband's cell phone that there would be no stacking kit. I only gave his cell phone number in case there was a problem finding the houseThe woman knew exactly where I work, Why wasn't I called? I am the one who purchased them, my husband didn't know anything about the stacking kit
Secondly, I knew that the BOYS didn't stack them and that is why I made arrangements with my brother in law to help my husband do it that night after they were done in the barn because I knew that I would have to wash his barn clothes that night
I was asking for an exorbitant amount of money. I had all the details written down-What I had to pay because the stacking kit was not delivered. If the stacking kit was not needed I would have had them delivered the week before, but I explained to them that wouldn't work
What does the price I paid for the washer and dryer have to do with not getting the money I was asking for? If the stacking kit was delivered as planned, I would not have had to get a babysitter and run to *** in the ice
You treat your customers with respect and kindnessWell, *** has a funny way of showing. I guess yelling at customer is okay
I guess the bottom line is that I will not be purchasing anything else from the Home FrontWhat is the saying "Word of mouth is the best advertisement!"

Review: On February 12, 2014, I purchased a front load washer and dryer that are stackable from The Home Front. I explained to [redacted] that it is an old farm house and the top load washer I had now was right in front of the toilet. That was the main reason I wanted stackable ones. She knew I had a tight area to work with because we measure the units to make sure they would fit. At that time we scheduled a deliver date of Feruary 21st because the stackable kit needed to be ordered. I was fine with that because again I explained that I wouldn't be able to use them without it. Well, on February 21st the washer and dryer were delivered by HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS and guess what wasn't there. THE STACKABLE KIT. After these HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS finally got the washer and dryer into the room with the HELP of my husband, the washer door would not open because it is right in front of the toilet and there is no stackable kit. I paid 35 dollars for a professional installer and delivery, NOT high school students. So, my husband calls me at work to tell me this and I immediately call The Home Front and they were going to call around and see if the could get a kit. In the meantime I went online and order one from [redacted] and had to drive to [redacted] that night and pick it up. [redacted] called me back at work and told that I would have to wait till Thursday for the kit and then explained again that my husband is a farmer and I NEED to wash barn clothes every night. They didn't care. I went to The Home Front on Monday morning with my receipt and proceed to get screamed at [redacted] about how heavy the machines are and that the HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS had to carry them. Well, if you knew how heavy the machines were why would you send 2 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS to deliver and install them? Most PROFESSIONAL Deliver man and installer have the right equipment to deliver machines such as straps and hand carts. The only refund I received was $19.50, which is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I think that The Home Front owes me the amount of money I paid for the stackable kit, what I had to pay for a babysitter and gas money. I paid $26.49 for the kit, $40.00 for a babysitter (2 and 1/2 hours), $15.00 dollars for gas. I also had to sit on [redacted] mountain for 1/2 an hour because of ice.
