Donna has been nothing, but helpful in the process of getting our home inspected. We are out of state and Donna didn't hesitate to keep us informed on the process and kept us updated with everything that was going to happen and when we received the inspection it was very detailed and really helped us understand what condition the property was in. The inspection reports are very detailed and don't leave anything out and are very helpful for someone out of state to understand the climate for a home in Alaska. The fact that I'm taking the time to leave a review in itself says that I am genuinely appreciative and beyond satisfied with Donna's inspection of the home I'm looking to buy. Having never purchased my own place, I did not exactly know what to expect. She graciously answered all my questions and educated me quite a bit on things this life-long renter was simply unaware of (proper fireplace practices, hot water heater basics, etc.) I did not expect to learn so much. Donna was lovely to work with and clearly knew her stuff when it came to city codes and how to properly inhabit your home in Alaska's unique climate. I would absolutely use The Home Inspector again and recommend her to anyone else looking. Five stars.

Donna came out and did a home inspection and Radon test on a large home my mother and I want to buy. She was efficient, polite, and answered all our questions patiently and completely. Also, our report was done the very next day after the Radon test was complete, with lots of pictures to document the observations. Very happy with our experience, and if we need it, I will definitely use her services again.

I was very impressed with their efficiency, covering all areas, good suggestions about maintenance I should consider, along with reasons for areas that were noted as requiring work. Very complete with very fair price.
