The customer purchased a special order sofa. Special orders are not subject to cancellation(store policy) and can at times take longer than expected. We did give an approximate arrival date and we updated our customer each time it...

was delayed. We also did offer a discount and a free delivery due to the delay but that was not acceptable to our customer either. After consideration of this complaint we will refund the customer back right away. We strive to make all customers happy but unfortunately it did not work out in this case. We will process a prompt, full refund today and mail the receipt to our customer in this complaint. Thank You

Review: I purchased a sofa on 11/30/2014 from The Home Warehouse in Ocean, NJ. On my sale receipt it states delivery in 3 weeks. I called they said there was a delay due to " The Christmas Holiday" it wouldn't be in until the Dec27th. Then I called back they stated January 7th , then January 20th, Then Janaury 29th. I told them I wanted my money returned on my card when I called and went in on January 21st. A woman named Shelly stated she could not do a return until the owner came back from vacation. She stated he would be back on January 22nd. She was suppose to call me and never did. I called back and spoke to her and Larry my sales person and told them I wanted to cancel, and to ask for the owner to call me. I then called again today. Theystill have not asked the owner to call me. They asked if I wanted a reduction on the furniture. I stated NO, and asked them to credit my account back the monies.Desired Settlement: I am asking them to refund my credit card in full.
