I have never had such a disappointing and frustrating experience with a mechanicI would like to ask for a refund of $dollars from Zachariah J [redacted] B***, sole proprietor of The Honest Mechanic of Montana LLCThe reason for this is unethical business practices, fraud, and failure to preform services renderedI will describe the events below On the of July 2018, the Ford Coachman co-owned by my sister and myself started leaking coolant from the water pump weep holeI was currently in a parking lot in Helena MontanaI have the ability to work on vehicles and knew that the water pump repair would not have been too difficult of a projectWhile I was doing the repair, a bolt sheared off on the intake manifold where the thermostat/radiator hose attachesAt this point I selected to find a local mechanic to work on the vehicleI had the vehicle towed to a local mechanic where they attempted to remove the boltThey were unsuccessful and were unable to have the vehicle
I contacted Zachariah *B***, owner and Operator of "The Honest Mechanic of Montana, LLC" on/or about December 7th I requested a quote for the following maintenance on my Ford Crown Victoria LTD; AutoTransmission flush and new filter, Coolant flush, Serpentine belt replacement, Oil pressure sender switch replacement, engine removal for replacement of rear main seal, oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, head gasket, etc Power steering flush, and a premium oil change with special additives I paid $up front for all the parts on December Via text messaging and at my request he provided me the shipping dates for "Parts" which would all arrive no later than December I scheduled an appointment with him to drop my vehicle off at his home an place of business on the 19th I asked him how long he estimated the maintenance would take and when the vehicle would be ready He stated that he would require a day or so but anticipate up to two full day
