The customer did indicate to us that he had received the incorrect part We did again request that the correct part be sent and we show it arrived to the customer on Friday, June 23rd As previously stated, we did in fact refund the entire purchase price of this item on June 7th We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this customer has experienced

I spoke in person on the phone today to a supervisor named [redacted] The remedy she offered me was to relieve me of the $pro-ration fee and only pay a $shipping feeI was agreeable to that resolution so I signed their warranty document and sent them the signed document and a check made out in the amount of $ [redacted] informed me upon receiving the signed form and the check (which I put in the mail today) as soon as it is processed they will send me a new solar coverI am hoping to receive the new cover no later than Thursday June or Friday July If I do not recrive the new solar cover by then should I contact you?Thank you very much for your assistance in this matterYou have been very helpful.Kind Regards, [redacted] Roseville, [email protected]

The customer in the above referenced complaint returned an item that she was not satisfied with upon arrival It was not damaged or defective in any way so per our return policy she was required to ship the product back at her expense for a refund less any applicable re-stocking fee The product is required to be in new condition upon return; however her item returned scratched and cannot be resold as new The product was returned on 10/and inspected; a credit of $was issued on 10/which is the total less the applicable 20% restocking fee Please let us know if we can be of further assistance in this matterSincerely, [redacted] | Customer Care Manager | Doheny’s

The liner that the customer purchased is not advertised as 25mil as he states many times in his complaint. It is advertised as Gauge liner which is common in the industry and does not relate to the mil of the liner. He did receive the liner that was advertised onlineWe
did offer a discount on the liner as well as offering to credit the $he references that he paid to upgrade. He declined a discount and stated that there was no $as there was no upgrade to the liner that he received. We have offered to pick up the replacement liner he is receiving from the manufacturer and credit him in full for the unused replacement which he has agreed to. In no way was this liner advertised falsely and he was sent the liner that was purchased online. We will provide him with a full refund but do not find it unreasonable to expect that the unused replacement liner to at least be in transit to our facility prior to doing so. This customer placed their order on Friday, May 27th at 4:10pm CST, which was 5:10pm in her local time zone. Our warehouse cutoff time for same day shipping is 4pm local time and only items that are marked with a Next Day Delivery designation are available for next day
delivery. This is stated clearly on our website where there is a clickable map that explains the next day delivery and shipping policy. This item is not designated as available for next day delivery. The liner was placed on the FedEx vehicle for shipment on the next business day which was Tuesday, May 31st after the holiday. The box appeared to have been lost in the FedEx system when the customer contacted regarding delivery. A credit was issued for the original and a new order placed by the customer which arrived on June 7th. On that same day the original package which was lost apparently was located by FedEx and began moving. It is now scheduled to deliver to the customer today, June 9th. We have left a message for the customer to contact us so that we can make arrangements to retrieve the second liner. While her situation is unfortunate, our website as well as the qualifying next day delivery items are clearly marked. The cover that this customer in 2013 did come with a warranty card that clearly outlined the proration percentages that would be due based on the length of time that had passed.   The warranty is valid from the date of purchase which is standard in any industry.  The customer did in fact speak to [redacted] who waived the proration fees as a courtesy;  he will be sending in a check for the shipping fee only which is also outlined on his warranty card.   The customer has indicated to us that he is satisfied with this resolution.Thank you,____________________________________________________________________________... I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
 The part I request was a part (base mount) that was broken during the original shipment.  I was told on the phone and email that the part was shipped several times but never received it?  A part was delivered to our address last week but it was the wrong one!  Our pool has been green for 6 weeks and our neighbor has mentioned he turn us in the health department because it has become a mosquito farm at this point and a hazard.  If the supplier did not have the replacement part why wasn't I instructed to just return it and replace it with another one?  The free offer would of been nice if we actually had the part to we could use the sand filter.  [redacted]
