Fantastic Products and beautifully packaged and every month is special and unique also the customer service is top notch! You truly can't ask for a better product or business. Their products helped me through a tough time with grief their uplifting notes that were personalized gave me the support I needed to deal with tough days and the products were such high quality so beautifully handmade you could tell people spent hours making these treasures. Rarely do you ever find a company that does more for their customers than this one they even put in more items often enough to share with others. I loved that I knew what I was getting from the beautiful photographs on their site. Truly a company that not only supports its products but its customers as well.
False advertising/bait and switch practices. Website will highlight items and have pictures of items stating they are part of the monthly box but you do NOT receive the items. After one full box, I consistently received less items than the site advertised for each month. After contacting the business, they confirmed their monthly advertisement that they put out was NOT meant to be accurate description of items to be received that month ie admitted bait and switch/false advertising practices which is illegal in California. Based on how they market themselves, I feel taken advantage of/discriminated against due to my disability. In other words since I am disabled I received less items than advertised and were received by other subscribers. Example post feature item of bracelet but no bracelet is sent in my box. Very deceptive and concerning as they claim to support those in their time of need but in reality they are misleading people and quite frankly ripping people off.

Modification/discontinuance of I reached out and requested refund but not surprising the company didn't even acknowledge my request. If they had offered refund I would have not be so concerned but instead it's a red flag that this company may just be scamming disabled people. At a minimum this company should have to abide by truth in advertising and either only advertise items they actually send out or post a disclosure making it clear to consumers that the monthly pictures are NOT reflection of product you are paying for.
We are disappointed to find that the customer makes a number of false claims, the most concerning of which is that we never responded to a refund request.
He/she makes these claims despite Hopebox
- Beginning the relationship by creating a unique 15% off code exclusively for the customer out of compassion for a medical conditionthis discount ensured Hopebox would make no money from sending the twelve forthcoming Hopeboxes, but the founder thought it more important for Hopebox to support the customer than to gain financially
- Exceeding Hopebox's original commitment by including more than 10 items per month for 8 months of hopeboxes
- Separately building the customer a custom Hopechest with exactly the items requested
- Replying to all emails within 12 hours each time the customer contacted us
- Refunding 70% of the original amount on 1/7/2018
Company has since processed partial refund so I am glad for that, but still think they need to be honest with their advertising. If they advertise an item in the month's box, they should send that item or state that you are not getting what was advertised but an alternative instead. Honest communication.
