found out the following: I called our credit card merchant services and spoke to a representative and he informed me that the merchant services we use does not accept PayPalI told him that the merchant services sent us a sticker to put on our window to let patients know what cards we acceptI also informed him that we got a complaint from a patient and they filed a complaint with the Revdex.comI also told him that was not right for the merchant services credit card company to send to their customersHe agreed and said he would look into the matterThe representative called me back about minutes later and informed me that the credit card merchant services do accept PayPalI told him thank you for looking into that for usI then followed up with the patient and informed her that it was a miscommunication with the front office and the credit card merchant servicesI apologized for the inconvenience and told her that we could use her PayPal accountThe patient told me to run her PayPal with her email accountI told her the merchant services would not let us enter the email account on the credit card machine and that it only accepts a credit card numberI told her to see if she could get her PayPal credit card number and then we would be able to run it for herThe patient told me she would look into this, and as of today, she has not contacted us with any PayPal accountShe informed us that she could only afford a small portion per monthThe patient did make a small paymentI also let the patient know the services we provided for her were not covered by her dental insurance company and she was responsible for the balanceI hope this clarifies this matter and if you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact us at ***.
