The Impractical Fan Club Reviews (%countItem)

Like the other compalaint, I ordered a t-shirt from them on March 7th, 2020. My first issue is they charged me for a second t-shirt even though I did not agree to this. They put a charge for 19.98 and 12.99 on my credit card. I reached out and we came up with a resolution that they would send the second shirt in a different size so I agreed to the second charge. I emailed them on 3/16 after receiving a tracking number but no movement on the shipment and did not hear back. I emailed them again on 3/20 and finally heard back with an apology about the delay and on April 2nd they issued me a $5 refund for my trouble. On April 13th I emailed them again about the status and they stated they put the order in again and the information was incorrect on the sizes. Still no product or refund. I requested a full refund via email on April 13 and April 20th. The phone number on my credit card statement when you call for a resolution has been disconnected. I get emails from this Harley, The Impractical Fan Club. My credit card shows Tshirt Exclusives, and emails regarding the status come from WildThread. This is a huge mess and a scam. I should not be continuing to ask about my merchandise and refund almost 2 months after my order was placed.

We want to apologize for any anger felt by Ms..

On our orders, we show that there was a delay on her shipment, and the recent slow up with COVID-19 has made it a bit slower for us to ship our packages.

To completely satisfy the customer we have went ahead and refunded the entire order, this will take up to 3 to 5 business days depending on Ms. financial institution.

We want to make sure she is happy and she can rest assured her order will be shipped out and she can keep it for completely free.

Thank you for allowing us to resolve this issue Ms., and once again we are completely sorry for our mistake on this incident.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and I accept it. Had I been given this reason instead of lack of response or assurance it was soon on its way with a tracking number that never shipped, I would not have complained. I appreciate the response.

This website has you take a “what impractical joker are you”? Then offers a free shirt with shipping of $9.99. I decided to buy ONE. I put my credit card number in for the $9.99 and a box popped up about an exclusive second shirt. When I tried to go to my order to delete the addition shirt for $14.99 plus another $9.99 shipping it said “thanks for your payment of $34.98 or whatever it was exactly. When I immediately messaged back asking the 2nd shirt be removed I was told that “I had to buy it”. It’s been the most ridiculous back and forth trying to get them to credit me back and take the stupid shirt off my credit card. They have no intention. I only get the run around.

To ***,

Thank you for your patience regarding this matter. We would like to take a quick moment to explain everything that transpired over the order in question. There were a total of 2 items that were selected to be purchased, a lot of our customers actually purchase the sticker pack as well (making it 3 items). We see that you opted to purchase the second shirt, albeit possibly by mistake, but opted out of the sticker pack. We believe there may have been a problem while checking out which we sincerely apologize for. While reviewing the account I see that our customer support team tried to cater to your requests. First, the shirt was too small so we offered to change the size to the 2XL one. Normally for sizes above XL there is an increase in the retail price. This is due to more materials and paints going into the custom printed order. We also tried to swap the design for a new one of your choice. When Ms. voiced her request to remove the item, we explained that we could issue a temporary refund of $9.99, and if she decided to return the item to us we would refund the remainder. This was strictly as a courtesy, and that refund was issued on Jan. 25th. However, to avoid any further inconveniences we have issued the remainder of the refund in the amount of $9.99, issuing a full refund of the unwanted item. As an apology we would like Ms. to simply keep both her items and enjoy them! Thank you so much for your patience and we wish to just clarify some of the contents within the complaint. We hope this resolves this concern and satisfies Ms..

We believe there is some confusion regarding the order. The order total was $32.97 for the 2 items in question. Furthermore, the second item which was requested to be removed has been fully refunded in the amount of $9.99 and $9.99, totaling $19.98. All the customer has covered is the cost of shipping and processing&handling which were all for the first shirt. We are allowing the customer to keep both items as a courtesy. Her bank has explained that refunds can take up to 10 business days, which have yet to pass. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about the time it takes for her financial institution to handle said requests. The full refund is normally only granted once we receive our item back unused and undamaged. To save her the cost to return the fully priced 2nd item which she added by mistake, we are refunding the amount in full as well as allowing her to keep all items from the package. We highly advise Ms. to check with her bank in a few business days and surely her credit for her 2nd shirt will be there.

Assuming my bank shows the refund, I am satisfied. This company IS running a scam though. Other fans agreed that shirts showed up in their cart they didn’t order, but you have at least helped me recover my money. Thanks.
