I CONTRACTED WITH THIS COMPANY IN TO HAVE A ROOF AND GUTTERS REPLACED DUE TO STORM DAMAGESINCE THIS COMPANY WAS ALREADY THERE I DECIDED TO HAVE THEM DO MY SOFFIT .AND FASCIA ALSO ON BOTH THE HOUSE AND GARAGENEEDLESS TO SAY THE GAMES BEGANI HAD AN ISSUE WITH MY ROOF AND THE OWNER WANTED TO COME OUT AND GLUE ITTHE FIELD SUPERVISOR STARTED SAYING THAT WHAT I WAS GOING TO PAY COVERED THE HOUSE ONLYALL I WANT TO SAY IS PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING YOU THEY ARE SOME GOOD LIARS AND EVEN MORE IMPORTANT THE QUALITY OF THE GUTTERS, SOFFIT, AND FASCIA DID NOT LAST SIX MONTHS BEFORE I HAD LEAKING GUTTERS, NAILS POPPING OUTTHE JOB WAS A TOTAL WRECK AND THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND THIER WORK THE WAY THEY CLAIM ON THIER WEBSITETHIS COMPANY GETS A TWO THUMBS DOWN FROM MEDO YOUR RESEARCH AND FIND SOMEONE MORE SUITABLE TO DO THE WORKTHE FIELD SUPERVISOR WILL BE QUICK TO TRY AND PULL UP THE Revdex.com LISTING BUT KEEP IN MIND MOST PEOPLE WILL NOT TAKE THE TIME TO FILL OUT COMPLAINTS, IM SURE IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANIES FILTHY BUSINESS DEALINGS
HorribleHORRIBLE experience with T.H.EIncThey claim to be the Total Home Experts, however they are notThey are Liars, cheats, and snakesThey came to our house and told us we needed a new roof because our area had been hit by hail and storm damage, assuring us that there would be no problem and that the insurance would cover it, (Not true at all) and we thought to try them outThey came to our house and gave us an estimate, which was reasonableThe work was shoddy at best, we spent weeks cleaning up the nails that they dropped, I have a dogs and children around the house who could have been injuredThey are smooth talkers who blame others for more additional costsThey "convinced" us to have additional "features" added to the house, which either don't work, or negatively impact their functionThey left a portion of the roof uncovered and just left tarpaperThey said they would repair/replace some old skylights in the houseThey ruined our sophits, and what parts weren't ruined looked like they were done by a childAfter months of calling them and asking us to fix it, they denied even having replaced the gutters and sophits saying that they were already warped and damaged, they were notWhen you put your trust in "professionals" you expect a job well done, ours couldn't have been further than professional, even if I did it myself
What an absolute nightmare! Beware of T.H.E., Inc!
They came to our house claiming that our roof and siding were damaged by hail, which they were, and that they would help us to get them replaced. We were told that our insurance would cover it and we wouldn't have to pay anything out-of pocket. According to the man that came by, there was more than enough of a markup in a roof and siding replacement to cover the deductible.
Shady already, but it made sense.
This all started in May of 2014. By November 2014, we were practically begging them to get the siding and roofing finished before Winter fully hit. They had already torn the siding off of the house and left it sitting with [redacted] for a month. They tore the gutters off the house and left the remnants hanging for three months.
Because our underground drainage system was left open for months, we developed a huge mouse problem throughout the house!
We caught at least ten mice inside the house! The mice had chewed up toys in the basement, gotten into the pantry, were under the appliances, and left poop all over. It turned into a huge problem.
They even destroyed a big pine tree by the side of the house and all of the evergreen bushes in the front of the house.
After the six month ordeal with T.H.E was over, we had to clean up literally hundreds and hundreds of nails all around the outside of the house and all over the yard. This was after multiple complaints and forcing them to come back out and clean up the mess they left.
We had two young children, who love to play outside, and there were hundreds of nails left all over.
When the home inspector for the insurance company came out to verify the work, she said she had never seen a work site left in as bad a condition as ours had been.
Now, two years after the work was finally finished, they've started calling us claiming we owe them $11,000!
In America, it is unbelievable that companies like this can exist and do business, praying on hard working families.
