Summary: Utterly miserable experience. Paid $3,640 for a move from Orange County to Minneapolis Jan 2015. One bedroom move. Took 21 days - this was two days past their guaranteed delivery date. Lost my coffee table. Zero communication after initial packing to clarify delivery date. I had to call in multiple times per day to no avail when trying to manage my own schedule around the delivery. After the miserable outcome, their team suggested that the delay in delivery was at my request. Way to add insult to injury, guys. Fail.

Positives: actual movers were great, initial quotes are straightforward, initial sales process was positive.

I selected Movers Alliance after reading customer reviews because, despite higher costs, I needed to have an honest, reliable, on-time experience. Unfortunately, my experience was exactly the opposite. The core features of a moving company one would look for were brutally lacking: guaranteed delivery was flat out missed, lost my items, and communication was horrible during the moving process. My experience might be an outlier, but consider yourself warned.
