I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.
I was never given a contract.  A list of wines prices and foods is not a contract.  The owner never stated that she lost three events.  In November she stated she would call me back and after two months without a call I feel that is unprofessional.  When I talked to her in January, I understood that she going to have surgery and offered my condolences.  When I ask her when would be a better time to talk to her, her response was I don't know.  She did say it was her slow months so I ask her if my money would be refunded eventually.  She did not have a straight answer of yes or no.  I felt as if she was just making excuses and being led along.  I would like for the owner to refund my money of $500 since there was not a contract given or signed.  Especially since she stated this was the reason I would not receive my money back.

Miss [redacted] reserved our inn for a wedding for July 12, 2014. At the time she booked the inn, she was

our contract and various lists of services and foods that we could provide. She chose to have a
local catered do her food.
On July 17, 2013 she sent a check for less than have of our facility fee, to hold the property.
She called afterThanksgiving 2013 and stated that she had decided to buy a house and would only be
holding her ceremony at the inn. This is a $325.00 fee. She then called on January 16 and requested her
monies back.
At this point I advised that the contract stated that if we were able to book the event she would receive
her refund. W subsequently lost three events for that date and several thousand dollars because she
changed her mind. She advised she did not sign our contract and wanted her monies back. She call
again on January20 and demanded her refund.
advised that I had been very ill and was leaving that day January20 for surgery in Pittsburgh. I advised
I would be out of town possibly for the rest of that week. I also advised I would need to discuss this with
our attorney as we had never had an incident like this. Ms. [redacted] was never told that her money would
not be refunded only that this was a very slow time for our busy and it would not be right away.
She became upset and said we were a business and that she was going to turn us in to the RevDex.com. At this point, she was told if that is what she felt was necessary to do it.
As stated she was never told that her money was not going to be returned.
My concern at this point is that she has already placed a black mark on our reputation so what is the
purpose on trying to resolve this matter. As stated previously we lost a large amount of revenue,
because she decided to change her mind.

Review: Owner of the business will not refund my money. She said this was a stipulation of the contract, however, I did not sign or receive a contract. When asked she could not produce a written contract. I did not enter into any contract written or verbally that would forfeit my money.Desired Settlement: Refund of the total money given.
