July 29, 2015While the guest was having dinner, a glass of wine was spilled on the server's trayIt was not spilled on the customer directly, as she is accusingThere were some dropsof wine on the table cloth, and soda water was offered by the server to clean the table clothThe customer never mentioned that any wine was spilled on her clothing that 'evening (Sunday, May 17, 2015)The customer did not contact the restaurant until Wednesday, May 20, We told her that, if she took her clothes to the dry cleaners, we would refund her money after she sent us the receiptThe customer never sent us the bill from the dry cleaners, even after we offered to pay for itWe have never received a photo of the suspected stain, and none of our employees noticed a stain on her clothes upon her leaving the restaurantThe greeter recalls a direct conversation with the group and they were very satisfied with the serviceThere was no mention of the stain that night, and there was no contact from the customer forthree daysWe find the delay to be “suspicious" in nature.Thank You,Sincerely,The Inn at Herr Ridge

I am rejecting this response because:
The server knew full well that the wine was spilled on me, my plate, the table, the floor and my daughter for that matter ( I was able to get the stains out of her clothing)We had dinner Sunnight, Mon I drove back to Mass( a 8+ hour trip), Tues I made my first phone call to the InnWhen I told the woman who answered what had happened, her response was that she had just been in cleaning that room and didn't know what had happened in there because of the mess. I have photos of my sweater and top which I can easily send, also many witness statementsWhen we returned to the hotel Sun night and were discussing dinner and the wine debacle, my sister asked her husband how the bill had been adjustedWhen he told her it hadn't, she was shocked and furiousI told her that I would handle it. The Inn did finally offer to pay for the dry cleaning, and that was only after many phone calls of me attempting to speak with someone, I was told to call after I picked up my garments from the cleaner so that the issue could be discussed in terms of if the items were able to be cleanedI could not get anyone to speak with me much less return any of my calls when I called about the dry cleaning and the fact that neither of the items were able to be cleaned
