While the guest was having dinner, a glass of wine was spilled on the server's tray. It . was not spilled on the customer directly, as she is accusing. There were some drops. of wine on the table cloth, and soda water was offered by the server to clean the table cloth. The...
customer never mentioned that any wine was spilled on her clothing that '. evening (Sunday, May 17, 2015). The customer did not contact the restaurant until Wednesday, May 20, 2015. We told her that, if she took her clothes to the dry cleaners, we would refund her money after she sent us the receipt. The customer never sent us the bill from the dry cleaners, even after we offered to pay for it. We have never received a photo of the suspected stain, and none of our employees noticed a stain on her clothes upon her leaving the restaurant. The greeter recalls a direct conversation with the group and they were very satisfied with the service. There was no mention of the stain that night, and there was no contact from the customer forthree days. We find the delay to be “suspicious" in nature.Thank You,
