Beware of Young Actor's Camp and Nichelle ***, they are running a scheme on children and their parents
This camp should be viewed as a get away camp and not a road to stardom, YAC over promises and under delivers on any of the aspects of this camp
But, the real issue is financial fraud
While our child enjoyed attending the camp, in 2016, the real problem started with an email about a "Golden Ticket" for the next year's Camp This email was sent out while our child was still at camp and we were only able to speak with her twice in the days she was there In hindsight I believe this was by design Get the parents to commit before get full feed back from their child
To get the limit access "Golden Ticket" you needed to make the $payment before the camp was overIt was encouraged to avoid credit card fees, to use a bank transfer, this again was by design(shame on me) As a way to removed any doubt about the commitment of these funds and time, a year out, a 100% refund is guaranteed
Although the value of this camp to actually lead to any acting opportunities is unlikely, if your child attends the camp, I'm sure everything would go fine, but if your circumstances changed or the feedback from your sequestered child gave you pause about them attending again, this is where the Ponzi scheme begins
Beginning January 24, the day we requested our 100% full refund, we've been told a series of stories:
Refund from the "Trust" takes days
The person responsible for the refunds was ill
The camp is on very shaky ground financially, we had to "borrow" your money to save the camp
We can get your refund by May
We can get your refund once the camp starts
The latest is we can setup a payment plan starting September 15th
Does this sound like a 100% guarantee?
All these contacts were initiated by me, there were no proactive communications regarding this matter Nichelle was hoping I would go away or forget that she took $from my child's savings

As of today I'm contacting local and California state authorities, to report YAC and Nichelle *** for fraud
