Review: I had tried a laser treatment to try to correct some scarring and other issues that I had.Dr [redacted] had said that a 2nd treatment after 6 months will show more improvements. Each treatment is $995. Dr [redacted] explained after my first treatment that I can pay $500 to join the VIP club, which then would keep future treatments at a lower cost for me. I paid $1020 on Oct 2, 2012 - $995 for my face and $25 for the cleanser and creams, ck# [redacted]. Then on Oct 12th I paid $750 - $250 for my neck and the $500 VIP club, ck#[redacted]. The office is an hour from me, so I would leave work early to go over. After 6 months I really did not notice a difference in my problem areas like I had hoped for what I paid. We started work on our home and I realized I had paid the extra $500 for nothing because I don't plan on going back. I started using a cleansing system that cost me $10-$20 per month that has shown much better results than what I had paid $995.00 for. I phoned a few months ago and spoke to the receptionist and asked if she can discuss a $500 refund with the Dr. I also emailed them with no response.Desired Settlement: I would just like a refund of the $500 VIP club that was never used. I explained to the receptionist that we really need this back to help with our home repairs. She said she would get back with me. I haven't heard from anyone in their office. I feel as though the VIP club may be mentioned to entice people to keep going back there. The first few weeks after my treatment my face seemed better(so I was excited)but once the swelling/irritation went down,it went back the same as before.
