So sorry for the way Ms*** feels. When we were first told about the incident in question our insured had doubts about rather his wife had hit the Jeep. After being called by the Salem police our insured's took their vehicle to the Station for the officer to see, the officer
said that since there was no mark or even disturbance of the road grime on our insured's vehicle he had his doubts about the incident also. Since there was doubt my insured had decisions to make, he didn't know rather the accept liability at all but since someone said they had seen this happen he didn't want to ignore it. He thought about paying out of his pocket rather than making a claim and we had to wait for his decision before turning in a claim. Once we were told by our insured that it was his desire to make a claim and let the insurance company handle the situation it was turned in the same day.While I do understand Ms***'s frustration, please understand that I needed my insured to make his decision before acting.
