As an aging 'do-it-yourselfer' I finally decided to hire some of the work needed around my home. One such project was top coating and staining the floors in my kitchen and dinette. I knew just enough about the process to know if I was going to be treated fairly. The first firm I asked for an opinion from missed the first appointment then quoted a price that was easily twice what I had expected. When quizzed they explained they were 'artists' and that is what it costs. Another firm's proposal arrived a full two weeks after its promise date [and two days after [redacted] had started my work] [redacted], the owner of Plano Concrete Flooring, showed up for his initial inspection as promised, supplied a quote that I felt appropriate [and half of that of the 'artists'] and installed what I believe are the nicest stained floors in North Texas. [redacted], his foreman Mario, and the entire crew were polite, professional and very good at their chosen profession. This old DIYer knows a class act when he sees one and [redacted] and his crew are such an act.
