Mary and her staff are very professional and knowledgeable. Our tax situation has become rather complicated in recent years. We needed to find a tax professional. Mary reviewed our past returns and identified tax breaks that were missed. This helped us get more money back. Mary is an enrolled agent with an incredible understanding of tax law. We needed her expertise to sort out a tax situation with an out of state employer. As it turned out, the employer was not following the tax law. When the employer called their own accountant they were told that Mary was correct and they had to change the way they withheld taxes. We were grateful to have the professional help from The Iola Tax Place. We recommended The Iola Tax Place to the employer since their own accountant had not explained the change in the tax law to the company and they had not been following the law for 6 years. I would recommend The Iola Tax Place to everyone. In the past 20 years we have used 4 accountants and have prepared our own taxes for some of the years.
