Review: I was having some problems with my home, my home was active in lost migation when I contacted the law firm, I spoke with the processor over the phone and told him my situation, I was deploying the next day so I went to see him, the firm convince me that the mortgage company lies to people they don't care if they take your home and unless you get a lawyer on your side they could do what they want, being as thou I was deploying I was very nervous, the processor said that if I file bankruptcy I would be able to keep my home, the fee was 5,200 so I wrote them a check provided them the information from the mortgage company and left for deployment, the law firm did not contact the mortgage company they were asking me what the mortgage was saying so I was still actively working with the mortgage and they gave me a trail period and I contacted the firm to see what they heard and was this a good sign, the firm stated thats what they do, it does mean anything, the mortgage company gave me a modification, so I did not have to file bankruptcy and I informed the law firm of this and now trying to get my money back, they refuse to give it back. I've read over the documents and their is nothing that states I am not entitle to a refund. I feel as though I did all the necessary paperwork, I dealt with the mortgage company myself, I provided them with all the necessary paperwork and I did not have to file bankruptcy and now that I'm asking that I be refunded my 5,200. I have contacted the law firm Mr. Roberts said he has to decide what he wants to do, I feel as though I have waited long enough for him to contact me with his decision. I paid for a service that did not take place.Desired Settlement: I would like my 5,200 dollars back because I did not want to file bankruptcy and I did not file and if it was not for the processor I would not have given them my money. I have proof of payment which was in a check form and I have proof they cash it.
