Review: My agent, [redacted] of the John Yurconic Insurance Agency in [redacted], sold me an insurance policy for my business (art gallery) that did not cover what I requested to be covered (art work). This left my entire business and reputation at risk and I only just found out about it and purchased an additional policy to cover what he told me was not covered which is 3d work or art in the round. He knew that I represented this type of artwork as it is on my website which he said he visited and it was in the initial emails. It was only after I asked him what to do about a loss, he explained that he did not know that I had glass or any artwork in a 3 dimensional form which I find flabbergasting and negligent. I brought this issue directly to the owner of the agency, John Yurconic, via phone message and email, to no resolution and in fact no personal response whatsoever from him however the Insurance Manager, [redacted] did contact me on his behalf. I have to assume they were again going to ignore my complaint as no one has responded in the time frame requested. This will be escalated until a satisfactory resolution occurs.No one should go to an "expert" for their opinion on protecting their business assets and then be told they are not covered because they don't have the proper policy. It was the agent's responsibly to sell the correct product and to protect me- which is the purpose of buying insurance.Desired Settlement: I recommended that he purchase the $3500 piece of artwork which has now been repaired.
