Text Message: You can request your introductory Offer at https://tjhe.al/M49NX62. 4246 N. 1st Ave. Ste. 140 Tucson, AZ 85719. Note: I called the Grant & Swan office first, drove to the Grant & Swan office. I was asked questions by Clara. I was upfront about treated with soft laser therapy with another chiropractor, for my left knee. I advised Clara that it was self-payment. I was required to check one of the three questions in reference to Medicare. I requested to pay in cash/debit/credit card. Clara, said due to me being treated for my left knee, the adjustment for my left pelvic/body, that I could not be treated there; otherwise, The Joint Chiropractor could be fined thousands of dollars and so would I. Clara, asked if I wanted to be fined? I was in extreme pain and needed an adjustment. I remained in my car be about half an hour. I walked out the pain for an half hour. I check with a chiropractor office, and should be able to receive treated. I waited until their lunch break was over and re-enter the establishment. Clara and another woman were at the front desk and both looked in my direction with a question mark to the reason why I was there? I said, checking back with my chiropractor office, I should be able to be treated. Clara, said firmly that I would not be treated there. Note: I had called Grant & Swan office first and the office on 1st. Avenue second. I received introductory offer from both. Note: I am in the system, due to having received adjustments in the past. This was done at the University. I also purchased an unlimited package, through out the week, it was my choice at the time. Monday, January 24, 2022, I called Grant & Swan, Clara answered the phone; I stated that patients from other chiropractors’ offices have been treated. I felt insulted, degraded, dehumanized due to negative interactions/treatment/and tone of voice and interaction from Clara, towards me. When 1st Avenue Joint office called Grant & Swan, they were instructed to refuse to treat me. Posted 1/27/2022
Review: My wife and I entered into a 6month contract for Chiropractic care at "The Joint" in June 2014. After a few months, we discovered we were not using the service as much as we thought we would, so we elected not to renew at the end of the contract. I enquired about cancellation while on a visit to the clinic and I was told nothing was required. I marked the date (16 Dec 14) in my calendar when our contract would terminate, as we were on an "autopay" plan.I wanted to ensure that our account was indeed cancelled. On 17 Dec, I checked my credit card and noticed a "pending charge" for an additional month ($39 and $49 for me and my wife). I called the office and asked why we were being charged. It was at that time that I was notified that we had to cancel "in writing" and the cancellation must be received 30 days in advance. This was not explained when we signed up and it was also not explained when I enquired about not renewing 2 months prior. I asked to be refunded the money and was denied. This is a dishonest business practice. I signed up for a 6month contract and that contract expired. I did not elect to continue.I did not authorize this additional transaction. And I have been denied a refund. In a orrespondence with the business I was told:We have processed your request to cancel both premium wellness plans for both you and Claire Bartlett. Thank you for completing the Cancellation Forms and sending them. However, a refund is notpossible as the agreement states your membership ended on Dec 16, 2014. Normally, a cancellation requires a 30 day written notice with one more payment applied. But, because your request immediately followed the final payment on Dec 16, 2014 I was authorized to cancel both memberships without an additional charge."Desired Settlement: I would like our $88 refunded as it was not authorized and the services were not requested.
