Review: On 2/21/15, at 10:53am., There was a call received from the Join-The Chiropractor Place, phone #[redacted], address: [redacted]. My mother answered the phone and was told by one of the joint representatives that they wanted to talk to me, [redacted], regarding a membership I supposedly owe to them for the entire year I did not participate in the program, which totally about $300.00. In response, my mother advised them that on April 5, 2014, I submitted a written letter indicating that I was no longer interested continuing in the program once my membership expired on 5/21/14. My mother further requested a stop her electronic payment (because the electronic payments were made with my mother's credit card). I am still have a copy of the letter delivery on 4/5/14 and have four (4) witnesses during the delivery of the letter: 1) my father, my mother, my neighbor and myself. The joint representative was very pushy and demanding that I have to pay the money no matter what and a manager will be contacted me and hang up at my mother's. Note: At first, my mother was a member of the join and she asked me if I want to participate in this program and she will pay for my membership, I accepted. My mother's membership expired much earlier than mine, so a month and a half before the membership expiration, she brought a cancellation letter to the joint because that's their requirement (a written cancellation letter)and gave it to one of the receptionist. Then, next week she went to chiropractor service, she told to another receptionist that she already handled her cancellation letter for her membership expiring next month. At this time, this receptionist checked the computer and responded, "there is nothing on file" regarding your letter. This is the same thing, I am presently going through with them. To me, this is dishonesty and a fraud.Desired Settlement: I want my name to be cleared of any debts. This place needs to be investigated. I am also sending a letter to the California Department of Investigation.
