[redacted] presented to our office on 2/6/2014 with complaints of mid back pain with radiation into his right side after falling on the ice. After a full orthopedic/neurological exam, he was advised to seek follow up exam and possible x-rays for possible broken ribs. Treatment was...
given around the area, but not at the site of injury. After treatment his range of motion and gait had improved, but he was still experiencing discomfort. After treatment we discussed the affordable plans and packages we offer in our office, along with a visit per visit cost, which is the $19 initial visit. Each and every patient, including [redacted] is treated like an individual and is free to make any decisions about how they would like to use our office. Upon review of the plans, [redacted] elected to buy 10 visits up front to guarantee he would be right around $20 for the date of initial service, along with 9 additional treatments which do not have an expiration. We provide affordable rates and patients can take advantage of great pricing when they pay up front as [redacted] did. Our promise to them is that we will be there 9am-7pm Monday thru Friday and on Saturdays from 9am-3pm and provide the best chiropractic care we can. The package [redacted] signed up for is non refundable but in turn locks him in at a price over 10 visits and does not expire. With that being said, we do refund packages and plans which have been paid up front in such matters such as he has described but he has in no way has made contact with us to discuss circumstances. When it comes to matters of eating or not eating, because he made a decision to buy 10 visits up front, we would be more than understanding, but there has never been any discussion stating any of the filed circumstances.

The patients membership was cancelled by the clinic at his request a month ago. I am not sure why he is contacting the corporate office. Please advise.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined...
that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I contacted the corporate offices well over a month ago and received no reply. My membership would have been cancelled a month before it actually was, if they had responded to me. The final month of charges for both of the memberships that I pay for would never have been charged if they had. Just because I eventually got the membership cancelled does not excuse the unprofessionalism of ignoring one of your customers. The fact that you see nothing wrong with your actions tells me exactly what kind of business you are. The correct response would have been "We apologize for not replying to our customer and see that the issue was eventually resolved. Was it resolved to his satisfaction?" NOT "I don't even know why he's trying to contact us". You know how you would have known???? To return my vm or online messages for your business. What is the purpose of a 'Contact Us' on your website if you're going to ignore it.
