I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The classes were never started and there for it is not a refund on a product. When I called to let them know that our situation had changed and we could not participate and I wanted reimbursement for money down (days later) they stated to come in to get the money back (see attached email verification). I came in about 1/weeks later and then they said the money was no longer there for me, that the money would have to be mailed. I called several times on the dates they were open and no answer.My brother then passed away on October 14, and I was not able to keep calling and emailing to clear this issue upI emailed again November and received no response. I reached Angela on the phone last night, November and she stated that the records indicated a check was mailed November in the amount of $425. We have not received any such check and if that is in fact true, they could check with their bank to verify nothing was cashed. During the phone call Angela proceeded to tell me that they don't issue refunds, which is something they made up and it was never referenced in my in person visit, phone call or previous email. I should not have to wait until after Christmas for something I paid back in August. I want the money by this Friday or I will be filing this in small claims court for the amount, plus interest and court costs.
