Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The response from the Junk Pros Team is not true.
1-When I contacted their office to request a quote, I spoke with Rose. She quoted $790 - $930 per load and stated that it would only take one or two loads. I described in detail the contents of the apartment to be sure that the quote was accurate. She specifically stated that unless it was a situation of hoarding (which it was not), that it would not take more than two loads. I had a friend at the apartment when Junk Pros arrived. When Craig, the supervisor phoned me on the day of the job and told me what a big job it was, I phoned the office to complain. Because I complained so vehemently, Gary did give me a discount. He also clearly stated that Rose should have offered for me to have an in person estimate, and that he does not know why she did not.
2-Regarding the donations, here is a direct quote from their website:
"We will sort, bag, dispose of everything that can't be recycled (we are very environmentally responsible) and even arrange for charitable donations of those items from a home or estate clearance that can be sent to organizations like The Salvation Army or Goodwill..."
I emailed the following to Gary prior to reporting to the Revdex.com and never got a response:
"I understand and am well aware of the difficulties in donating large pieces of furniture. However, I feel quite certain that does not apply to other items such as: beautiful small sconces, crystal stemware, decorative drinking glasses, everyday dishes, and other kitchen ware. I cannot imagine the charities would not accept those items. Perhaps you can provide me with documentation from various charities that they are not accepting such items? Otherwise, I feel that I need to report this to the Revdex.com.
So, this most recent response from Junk Pros is not honest, and not helpful. I expect that this matter will be resolved more satisfactorily.
Thank you.
