To whom it may concern,It has been brought to my attention that a complaint has been file with the EBB, and this letter is to reply to this complaint.On August 23, a Toyota Corolla was purchased from our car lot the sales person was Jorge not myself as stated on the complaintWe always allow customers to test drive our inventory before purchase transaction is completedIf our customer wants to check vehicle with mechanic prior to buying we never say we don't allow that, actually we understand that when a vehicle is being purchase is for the need of the individual and encourage anyone to have it checked by their mechanicThe vehicle was not paid on schedule as stated on motor vehicle installment agreementSaid vehicle was to be paid off on 9/23/and since they didn't pay the car as schedule they didn't pick up titleThe vehicle was paid off months after purchaseThe payoff was only $so we decided that customer would pay off vehicle when they need it the title.On January 10, I was contacted by customer and said that they couldn't plate the vehicle because there had been another title issuedI got a car fax repot and it stated that there were only two titles issued for the vehicleWhich the Ohio title was the last one to be issuedWhen I told this to the customer and told her to bring me title and power of attorney so I could go to the license branchShe said, "well the problem is that the car is not working anymore and I need a reliable car to use." I told her that I could help with the title but that the mechanical work something that they would have to fix because the car was purchased AS-ISSeveral minutes after her boyfriend who is on the contract called me and said that they would sue us for the title to get their money back and that he would have to stop by, in a threatening voice, to talk to me in personI told the customer we sold you a car for $and we are not going to fix your car for you.I am willing to help customer with the title issue but that's all I can doThe vehicle was in good running conditions when it left the car lot, if that wasn't the case they would have contact us immediately after purchase not months laterWe try to work with every customer because our company is not about taking people's money and taking advantage of them but we also don't appreciate being taking advantage fromWe do sell used vehicle and do not guarantee any vehicle we sell, warranties from a third party only if vehicle qualifies due to age and miles.Thank you, Manager, Nora P [redacted] (317) 353-

I repeatedly asked for help with the title on multiple occasions and I was repeatedly told that there was nothing they could do because the information said the title was valid and up to dateI went to the BMV on several occasions trying to register my vehicle and was told each time that there was another title out and I could not get my vehicle registeredI was very polite and cooperative with Lupitas Auto Sales and the employees and did not get the simple help I asked for to begin withI brought of the car trouble in that moment because I had already put money into the car in just the months that I had it and I was not going to continue to money into a vehicle that I technically cdid not own and legally could not even driveI do not care to find the title now because this could have been resolved on my many request previous to filing this complaintMy mother and I would either like our money back and that is itIn total we did not pay for the car we paid I have all of our receipts and will be glad to show them.

The payoff was only $471.00 so we decided that customer would pay off vehicle when they need it the title.On January 10, 2017 I was contacted by customer and said that they couldn't plate the vehicle because there had been another title issued. We try to work with every customer because our company is not about taking people's money and taking advantage of them but we also don't appreciate being taking advantage from.
