I am rejecting this response because: Every point [redacted] attempts to make in this rebuttal is invalid and a distortion of the facts. I have copies of the contracts that were signed with [redacted]. It is evident with each of the subsequent contracts that he was attempting to extort more money in order to finish the job even though he agreed initially on an amount. His claim that he did not not walk off the job is a complete fabrication as that is exactly what he did! In doing so, he left my house in very treacherous conditions with many deep holes dug and left uncovered and then filled with water. Because of that, the Gnats and flies I had to endure during this long period of time were overwhelming! I waited at least eight days for [redacted] to return to finish the job and when he never returned (nor was I able to reach him as his cell phone had been disconnected ) I was forced to hire another company to finish the job. There were many days in between the storms were he easily could have come and completed the job, so that is a totally invalid reason . He states "The foundation work on the house was a nightmare from the beginning"? [redacted] was hired to do a job! How does that play a part in his lack of professionalism in leaving the home in dangerous conditions, disappearing and leaving no way to contact him. Leaving me no recourse but to hire another company to finish what he started. He took $5200 from me, basucally dug holes around my house and left the house in an unsafe condition and never returned. Clearly he had no intention of finishing the job once he received money. He mentions he did not give me a timeframe to finish the job, but let's be reasonable here! How long does foundation work on 1000 square-foot home take? Certainly not three weeks to a month. Even with the rain before that occurred he walked off for two or three days at a time with no explanation. When he finally did come back to finish more of the work we did have some rains and then after that again he just simply disappeared. I hired him in good faith, paid him most of the money upfront. The reasons that he is giving are nothing more than his way of trying to avoid being held accountable for fraudulent business practices. So I am rejecting his rebuttal because it is simply untrue on all points… And I do have documentation to prove it. Thank you for your time

Att [redacted] Sending this Email to inform you that I never quit the project located @ [redacted] The access holes all had Caution warning yellow strip, also my tools were left on the job in order for me to come back and finish the...
project ,I did however put a stop o the project due to the rainy weather and also due to the simple fact that [redacted] did not want to pay for the additional we agreed to install one , but the slab needed more than one (L) 90 degree beams that were needed to raise and stabilize the structure according to the structural engineer recommendations. You did how ever hired another company to complete the job; your project was a nightmare from the start due to the depth of the original concrete beams, the weather and [redacted] not appreciating hard work and him insulting me in the presence of my workers. On the contract we originally signed and dated 4/9/2015 we never did agree o a time period to finish the project, it also clearly states we are not responsible for acts of God or Mother Nature. It also states MONEY IS NON RREFUNDABLE Thank YouSincerely[redacted]
