The Client was contacted after her down payment, twice to be exact. Review: The owner of the design shop came to my home to give me direction and advice on choosing a new kitchen counter. We discussed the fact that the counter needed to match existing cupboards and floor. I chose a color from a small square of product. My cost was $4,693.68. [redacted], the owner in question, was extremely attentive making phone calls and keeping in touch, until I paid for half. When my old counters were removed and after the 5 days went by (this was the time frame he assured me that the job would be completed) I received no call from [redacted]. The counters were installed on the 8th day. The color did not match anything in my kitchen. I have since reprinted all of my cupboard, replaced all hardware--to include hinges and knobs, I have reprinted the walls in the kitchen and the counters still do not match. I called the Kitchen Design Studio on January 14, 2014 and asked to speak to [redacted]. I told the woman that answered that I was very unhappy with my counters and needed to speak to the owner for direction. By Friday, January 17th, I had no call from the owner or anyone at the store. I have caller ID so I know whether they called. I left another message on their answering machine Friday, January 17th around 8PM. Still no return call. I will be putting in new counters. The counters from Kitchen Design are unacceptable. I intend to pay for new counters and was hopeful that **. [redacted] would help me and in a perfect world accept some of the responsibility for directing me to a counter that does not incorporate any color in my kitchen. The name of the company is Kitchen Design! Not returning my phone calls is also unacceptable. I feel that it is the responsibility of an owner of a company to deal with problems--not just there to make a sale and collect the money. My counters were paid in full within 2 days of installation.
