about our Business that has been sent to The Revdex.comThis is a letter in response to case ID *** for The Knife Restaurant.Our restaurant Is part of a franchise and has been open here InVirginia since December Since the beginning we have had our child prices strictly shown at the restaurant as well as on our website*** ***s major complaint focuses on the fact that he paid full price for his children whom are and He says no where In the restaurant did it state thisKids are measured at the restaurant to determine what price they will payChildren under 3ft eat free, children between 3ft and ft pay $and between 4ftand 5ft pay $Anything over that requires full adult priceOur business does not have a set price, we have specials and the price depends on what time, day, or special occasion it Is*** *** states that he didn't know about the price Increase until he was already seatedWe have a board in the entrance of our restaurant which clearly stated our special for the day and the price for the day so there Is no way that he didn't know what the price wasWe don't discriminate against "bigger kids" this is our system and it is based strictly on heightLike Istated this is a franchise and these are the rules for our restaurantRegardingthe poor service, we sincerely apologize if the service was not of his liking*** *** states that he had to constantly remind us to bring meats to his table but we have two ways of getting meats to your tableYoucan wait to have the meat come by each table or you can personally get up to the counter and request what you would like and how you would like it cooked which Isthe way most people preferThisis an all you can eat steak house that has an area where you can get your own meat and a full salad bar as wellWhen the customer is seated it is explained to them, especially Ifit is your first time thereSince it is an all you can eat Steak House there really is no need for a waiter to be at your table every secondThe only thing the waiters check on are your drinks and any hot sides you may requestLike Istated we truly apologize Ifthis restaurant did not meet your standards but it is not like every other restaurant out thereWe have a different system which is explained to you once you are seatedIdo not consider that a refund is necessary for this visit as there is proof on our menus at the table, website, board at the restaurant that we clearly charge by height for children and adults are charged by the day and time of their visit which is clearly stated in the board in the front of the restaurantThis board could have been clearlyread while he states that he was waitingto be seated*** *** states that the service, pricing and profiling of his children makes him want a refundWe can not change the rules to our restaurant so the pricingand child price cannot changeIffor some reason *** *** July 19, Page 2he missed the sign at the entrance he was clearly explained the prices once he was seated and he had all the right In the world to get up and leave if he did not agree with any of It.We are truly sorry for not meeting your standards and any misunderstanding there might have been regarding the child prices or our services
