Revdex.com of Upstate South Carolina, First of all one of my agents wrote this policy so I don't have first hand knowledge of what was said during the interview and the writing of the policy As far as the premium with [redacted] the premium is fully earned and states this on the policyAs far as I know Mr [redacted] was not involved in the purchase of the insuranceI think his wife was the one that talked to [redacted] and purchased the insurance I tried to rectify the situation with them but they would not accept my offerBy law I cannot rebate any premium or part of any premium to an insured If you have additional questions please feel free to contact me at [redacted] , SC Sincerely, [redacted] Chastain Insurance Agency, Inc

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint My wife and I spoke with [redacted] at Chastain Insurance Insurance on the day we asked for "a specific" type of policy which was one the rolled over into a homeowners They did not have that type of policy but [redacted] checked with [redacted] who said they had a builders risk policy that was prorated After checking with other insurance providers, we decided to purchase the said "prorated" policy from Chastain since they were our agents and the price was around the same as other companies with a prorated insurance My wife is the one who wrote out the check to them but we both were in the office to buy the insuranceIn all of our dealings with Chastain, we ask for a service, they tell us the insurance details, we pay, then receive the policies in the mail after the premiums are paidRegardless of what the policy we received states, we were not given the policy in which we asked for or in other words the one they lead us to believe we would have We asked for policy A and were given policy B which is not the fault of ours but clearly his office He acted very surprised when told the company he suggested no longer did prorated insurance So either they intentionally misled us or it was an honest mistake and [redacted] is too proud to admit it They failed to keep up with the insurances they carry Before, we thought this was an honest mistake but with the statements [redacted] is making, this causes me to believe they intentionally misled us to get our business knowing that we would not get the policy to read until after the premium was paid He and his staff should do a better job at knowing what it is they are selling the public and practice honesty Who in their right mind is going to purchase a year policy when they know the house is within a couple of months to completion The part he stated about us not accepting his offer is a lie He first offered 200, was denied because it was just about half of what we should have been getting back then after he agreed to pay 300, he never made the monies available to us even after many attempts until after we contacted Revdex.com Attached is a zipped file text messages to prove it I hope the department is able to view them if not please let me know and I will photograph them from my phone with a camera and attached them Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
My wife and I spoke with [redacted] at Chastain Insurance Insurance on the day we asked for "a specific" type of policy which was one the rolled over into a homeowners.  They did not have that type of policy but [redacted] checked with [redacted] who said they had a builders risk policy that was prorated.  After checking with other insurance providers, we decided to purchase the said "prorated" policy from Chastain since they were our agents and the price was around the same as other companies with a prorated insurance.  My wife is the one who wrote out the check to them but we both were in the office to buy the insurance. In all of our dealings with Chastain, we ask for a service, they tell us the insurance details, we pay, then receive the policies in the mail after the premiums are paid. Regardless of what the policy we received states, we were not given the policy in which we asked for or in other words the one they lead us to believe we would have.  We asked for policy A and were given policy B which is not the fault of ours but clearly his office.  He acted very surprised when told the company he suggested no longer did prorated insurance.  So either they intentionally misled us or it was an honest mistake and  [redacted] is too proud to admit it.  They failed to keep up with the insurances they carry.  Before, we thought this was an honest mistake but with the false statements [redacted] is making, this causes me to believe they intentionally misled us to get our business knowing that we would not get the policy to read until after the premium was paid.  He and his staff should do a better job at knowing what it is they are selling the public and practice honesty.  Who in their right mind is going to purchase a year policy when they know the house is within a couple of months to completion.
The part he stated about us not accepting his offer is a lie.   He first offered 200, was denied because it was just about half of what we should have been getting back then after he agreed to pay 300, he never made the monies available to us even after many attempts until after we contacted Revdex.com.  Attached is a zipped file text messages to prove it.  I hope the department is able to view them.  if not please let me know and I will photograph them from my phone with a camera and attached them.
