Regarding the complaint submitted: [redacted] had contacted me on the 24th of August to confirm that a bill she received for September rent was not correctI confirmed that since she was moving on the 30th of August she did not in fact owe rent for September and her balance at the time was zeroHowever, after the 30th we walked her apartment and found that she had not cleaned and there was extensive damages to the carpet which led to it needing to be replacedThe damage was caused by a pet, in which she had no pet on the lease agreementIn good faith, we did not charge penalties for the unauthorized pet only the damages for the carpetHad we charged penalties for the pet this would have increased the amount due by at least $So [redacted] 's claim that we charge "ridiculous fees" is inaccurate as we certainly could have charged moreWe can provide pictures of damages and receipts showing carpet replacement both before and after [redacted] 's residency with usFurthermore, we did not change the locks prior to her moving out on the 30th of August [redacted] acknowledged in an email it could have been a problem with her key, and had she notified us prior we could have seen to it any issue with her lock was correctedIn summary, all of the charges owed by [redacted] are accurate and are a direct result to damages in her apartment, we will not be adjusting the chargesI do apologize for the misconception we charge "ridiculous fees" and for the "horrible experience," that [redacted] says she encountered, however The Landings was fair and just in the charges presented and there is no documentation that [redacted] had any "horrible" issues that aroseWe have even waived further charges for the pet she had which caused the damages in the apartment out of good faithIn conclusion we wish [redacted] the best and we will continue to provide our residents the excellent service they have come to expect from us Respectfully, [redacted] - BH Management The Landings at Brooks City Base

Re: Revdex.com Complaint #[redacted] Hello! Regarding the complaint submitted: [redacted] had contacted me on the 24th of August to confirm that a bill she received for September rent was not correct. I confirmed that since she was moving on the 30th of August she did not in fact owe rent for September...

and her balance at the time was zero. However, after the 30th we walked her apartment and found that she had not cleaned and there was extensive damages to the carpet which led to it needing to be replaced. The damage was caused by a pet, in which she had no pet on the lease agreement. In good faith, we did not charge penalties for the unauthorized pet only the damages for the carpet. Had we charged penalties for the pet this would have increased the amount due by at least $500. So [redacted]'s claim that we charge "ridiculous fees" is inaccurate as we certainly could have charged more. We can provide pictures of damages and receipts showing carpet replacement both before and after [redacted]'s residency with us. Furthermore, we did not change the locks prior to her moving out on the 30th of August. [redacted] acknowledged in an email it could have been a problem with her key, and had she notified us prior we could have seen to it any issue with her lock was corrected. In summary, all of the charges owed by [redacted] are accurate and are a direct result to damages in her apartment, we will not be adjusting the charges. I do apologize for the misconception we charge "ridiculous fees" and for the "horrible experience," that [redacted] says she encountered, however The Landings was fair and just in the charges presented and there is no documentation that [redacted] had any "horrible" issues that arose. We have even waived further charges for the pet she had which caused the damages in the apartment out of good faith. In conclusion we wish [redacted] the best and we will continue to provide our residents the excellent service they have come to expect from us Respectfully, [redacted]- BH Management The Landings at Brooks City Base
