This client was initially seen on 5-9-for brow micropigmentationDuring the initial visit her medical history was reviewed and recorded; potential complications of micropigmentation were reviewed verbally and in writing including uneven edges, color which may heal to light or too dark, mild
swelling and infection (form on file x 2); the no-refund policy was discussed and initialed (on file); post procedure precautions and care were discussed and given to her in writing (copy on file), and she was provided after-care creamShe was told that the color is expected to fade 20-30% over the first 6-weeks and that a touch up could be done? after? that time; she was told that the cost of the procedure ($400) included one touch upApproximately hours were spent drawing the brows to her satisfaction and mixing? and testing a? custom colorAfter she approved the shape and the color, the procedure was completedAfterward, she voice satisfaction.She returned on 5-23-complaining that the shape had shifted and the color was too darkShe insisted that something be done at that time? even though I reminded her that the color will lighten? over? several more weeksWe? discussed? adjusting the shape through a salt-removal procedure? and? she wanted to proceed? to reshape her browsI told her that I would not apply color and salt removal at the same time and the plan was for her to return for color correction after the salt procedure healedI told her that the salt procedure sometimes needs to be repeated more than once.? No charge for the salting procedure.She returned? 8/and had responded very well to the salt procedure under her left brow; the color had been completely removedShe said she was very happy with the results and wanted the top-line of the left brow treated to drop that line slightly and she requested that we go over the existing hair lines with a lighter color to lighten the browsWe repeated the salt procedure on 8/24? on top of the left brow to reshape the top line to more her likingHer micro-pigmented hair lines were visible with minimal migration between the linesI went over the hair lines with a lighter color mix (pre-approved by? ***)After the procedure I took her to the makeup room so that we could carefully examine the shape and color of her browsShe stated she was very happy with the results at that timeThe follow up plan was to consider reassessment of the color in a few weeksNo charge for the salt procedure or color change.Two weeks later? ***? again called with aggressive complaints because she felt that the brows had no hair lines and she no longer liked the shapeI told her that when she was last seen I clearly saw hair lines, I lightened the color to her satisfaction at that time and the shape had already been changed through salting, also to her earlier approval and that I was not willing to continue to make changes to the browsShe became very upset and since that time she has contested the $fee paid by credit card,? has slandered my work and professionalism and has posted derogatory remarks about the day spa where I work on? a? stop sign near the spaHer unreasonable hostility has made it impossible to continue to work with her.***? uses tanning beds, this is one of the post procedure precautions that are listed on the precautions and post care sheet that she received; if she used the beds before the week mark this could have caused the color used in her brows to change, the shape of her brows were carefully marked to her satisfaction prior to the initial procedure? and later salted to change the shape, again to her satisfaction.? I feel that I have gone above and beyond to meet this client’s wishes and there is nothing else I can do for her
