Hello, [redacted],The day you called our front desk to personally complain about the service you received the day you came in for your lashes, we here at The Lash & Wax Boutique always appreciate customer feedback. Customer remarks present us with an opportunity to better ourselves and we always...

welcome any client to let us know when they are not satisfied with their experience here. That being said, we are sorry that although you left our salon happy, you did not experience lasting satisfaction with your service. Before we proceed with resolving this issue we would like to clear up some of the details:DATE/TIME OF SERVICE: You were originally scheduled for an eyelash extension fill on Saturday, May 23rd at 10:15 AM. It was our first time seeing you so, as routine with any new client coming to see us with extensions from another salon, we examined your lashes and determined that they were far too clumpy for us to fill (there is a photo attached for your reference). This is because the technician at the salon you previously visited applied your lashes using a "stacked" technique, meaning that he or she put multiple eyelash extensions on each of your natural eyelashes. We explained to you that this particular technique was damaging to your natural lashes and causing breakage as a result of the clumps of glue and weight of the extensions. There was no way we could properly fill your extensions without compromising the health and integrity of your lashes; in doing so we would have only caused further damage to your natural lashes. At that time, you opted to have them all cleaned off, come back in later to have a full set of the extensions applied using our individual, one extension per eyelash technique (we already had appointments with other clients until the end of the day), and use the remaining appointment time to receive a combination eyebrow wax, eyebrow tint, and eyelash tint (lash and tint combo). This service resulted in a $55 charge.SERVICE CHARGE: Of the variety of eyelash extension styles that we offer, you chose the synthetic. Menu price for a full set of synthetic eyelash extensions are $150.00. The day of your appointment, you chose to take advantage of our 10% off first time client promotion that we were running. You received 10% off the menu price for your lash extensions, resulting in a $135.00 charge. We waived the $35.00 extension removal fee. As mentioned above, you were charge $55.00 for the lash and tint combo. This means that you paid a grand total of $190.00 for all the services you received that day, and we have record of that purchase on paper receipt as well as in our system.OUR LASH EXTENSION FILL POLICY: We here at The Lash & Wax Boutique stand by our work and take pride in the quality services that we provide. We educate and explain to each client that in order to maintain your lashes, you need to come in every two weeks, or three weeks (at a higher price) for a lash fill. We guarantee our eyelashes extensions for up to one week, so any dissatisfaction with your eyelashes needs to be addressed within that week. Anything after that week would result in a regular fill price (just like everyone else). Our phone records show you had called us on Sunday May 31st and Monday June 1st (this is exactly 8 and 9 days after your initial full set). You had not left a voicemail on our voice messaging system, however in your defense we are closed Sundays and Mondays so we were unable to get back to you on those days. When you called again the morning of Tuesday, June 2nd and reached our receptionist, she offered you days and times that you could come in that week, for free, although you were beyond the one week guaranteed period. You claimed that you could not make any of the available time slots due to your work schedule, and she then informed you that the Saturday of that week was the two-mark period, at which point you would be required a two-week fill at $60.00 (the menu price for a two-week fill of synthetic extensions). This was not in any way, shape, or form an attempt to cheat you. It's simply our policy, and it stands regardless of the lash technician you are seeing. FOLLOW UP: Following the phone call on Tuesday, June 2nd, Carol called you herself several times to resolve the issue. She called you first on Wednesday, June 3rd from her personal cell phone and left a voicemail asking you to come back in so that she could take a look at your lash extensions. She didn't hear back from you so she called again the following day, Thursday, June 4th, from the main line at The Lash & Wax Boutique Greenlake location and left another voicemail. After hearing nothing back for several days, she made one final attempt to reach you the week of June 9th. At this point it was a little over two weeks after the date of your original visit. We want to make it very clear that we did make a great effort on our part to solve the problem of your dissatisfaction with your service. RESOLUTION: [redacted], we are very sorry that you were not happy with both the services you received from us and our brand of customer service; however, we believe this is a chance for us to make things right. We would absolutely love for you to come back in and see us! You can receive one (1) complimentary full set of eyelash extensions. When you book, feel free to see any of our other technicians. All of the girls here do wonderful work and give beautiful extensions to clients who they see on a regular schedule. We would really like for you to give us another try! Again, thank you so much for your feedback.
