I spoke with you today about a complaint that we received from *** ***The letter they are referring to was received by his girlfriend at about am on 10/22/they were asked to be out the evening of 10/24/This was over
hours notice for them to leaveWe have checked with the courts and department down here and we do not even have to give a hour notice do to we are a hotel/motel and RV parkThe parties that where in the cottage, Mr*** and his girlfriend ***, had a dispute on 10-11-in which someone from their cottage had called police, the police called the office phone and spoke to the girl working that night *** to find out where the cottage was*** spoke with police as they were leaving and the police said that it had been resolvedOn 10/18/14, I was out of town and *** was on call againShe was cleaning in the cottage beside themOne of the residents told ***'s son to come and get ***When she went over to the resident's RV spot, she was informed that they were drunk and fightingThe resident and *** noticed that she was near the office parked up there and cryingThey asked her if everything was okayThe girlfriend said no she was waiting on someoneMr*** was also intoxicated and the girlfriend was waiting on a friend to come and talk to himThe friend showed up and went back to the cottage #and Mr*** and the girlfriend and the friend were all outside talking*** finished cleaning #46and when she came out they were still taking but not arguingThen she came to the office to get something for another resident when *** went back that way, Mr*** and the girlfriend were yelling at each otherThe girlfriend was yelling about him giving her gun back. *** did not feel safe about them yelling about a gun. She then called the Aransas County Sheriff's Department. The deputies came out and talked to the girlfriend because Mr*** had left. Everyone in the park heard them fighting and saw the police cars in the park. The other residents heard her yelling about the gun, saw her speeding through the park, and they felt unsafe. After the police left, she came running to another resident's site to speak to ***, but she was talking to the officer. She was yelling that Mr*** was behind her, and the officer informed *** that they were looking for him in the park. More residents heard her yelling again. *** offered to let the girlfriend or Mr*** in another cottage to get away from each other and cool down. Both of them declined the offer. When I came back to the office on Tuesday, I had several residents come into the office with complaints about the couple fighting, the police coming, and the fact that a gun was being mentioned they did not feel safeThey also said that the girlfriend was speeding in the park and there was children in the park at this time she was speeding before the police arrivedShe was doing this minutes before the police arrivedThis is a zero tolerance park, and this was the second time police had come in a week because of the partiesOn 10/22/it was decided for the safety of our residents that they were asked to leave*** the girlfriend came up to the office after getting the notice with her receipt in hand telling me that they didn't have the money to leave due to paying us $and some bills they had at home to payI also explained to her that I knew the police had been calledShe said it was over a missing gunI said then there would be a report she said no report was filed I informed her that there was nothing that I could doI explained to her that the owners know their rights and have spoken with several people, and because we are a hotel/motel, there is no refund due to yes she paid on the 10th but even if you take the days they were staying here which would have been days, 10-though 10-24, the cost to stay is $plus % tax a week for weeks would have been $We called it evenShe then asked for the owners numberI explained to her that the owners would not take her call, this is why the owners have a manager to handle all of thisAfter the girlfriend left I (***) called the police department and asked to speak to the officer that came outDispatch told me that they would have the officer call meThe officer called me back within minutesI explained who I was and asked him that I needed to get some information about a call the received on 10/from the Last ResortI told him that the girlfriend had just come in and told me that the reason they were called was because a gun was missingThe officer told me that both of them were intoxicated and that it was told to him they hadn't bought any beer since AM that morningHe then told me that the gun was removed from the boyfriend for their safetyHe told me that he told them they needed to go and sleep it offThe officer also told me that the girlfriend couldn't tell him the day or timeI explained to him that she told me that they didn't have the money to move and didn't have to move because they paid a months rent , he also said that we are not apartments we are hotel motel RV and that we do not have to give them the rest of the monthHe then said that our RV park is a quiet park and that we do not have calls here and the police do not have to worry about us or our residents and that the best thing is for them to go.After speaking with the officer I called the owners and told them what was going on and that she requested their numbers the owner said thank you this is why they have managersOn the plumbing issue she said she text me on my personal phone I didn't get it till she was calling my personal phone I was with a customer and then she called the office to report itThe plumbers came out as fast as they could and that was at about 2pmThe plumbers did the rotoruter to the plumbing and all was goodOn cleaning up they are responsible for cleaning their own unit and they bring all their towels and sheets to the office to get new onesWhen Mr*** left, he left a lot of things behindIt will cost approximately $to clean the cottage. To this day, we have already hauled out bags of trash, and a trunk load of stuff off the front porch. As for harassment to the parties there was noneNo words were spoken with them and when Mr*** came in on Friday the he told *** that he would be out within the hour and he left his key in the room and never called the office for a walk though of the cottage. They stayed here for weeks and I feel that we call the money on the rent even since the cost would have been moreAlso, it is not our fault that when rules are broken it is the person that is staying there's own expense to move outWe have given them several chances over all their fights that were out in public and I am sure you will see that the last fight the actions are correct for the safety of our residents and the children that stay hereIf there are any questions you can call usI would like to know when this is resolvedIt was suggested to me that this party leave from residents that said they would leave for safety and also the officer that I spoke withI am sorry that they could not stay at the park I had a few people that asked if he could stay and the girlfriend not be aloud to stay but as we were all outside on the Thursday before he left he was outside on his phone fighting with someone and we could all hear it and the few people said no he has to goAgain we are not use to having issues in our park like this and deal with them the best way we know how

The letter they are referring to was received by his girlfriend at about 11 am on 10/22/2014 they were asked to be out the evening of 10/24/2014. This was over 48 hours notice for them to leave. We have checked with the courts and department down here and we do not even have to give a 48 hour notice do to we are a hotel/motel and RV park. The 2 parties that where in the cottage, Mr. [redacted] and his girlfriend [redacted], had a dispute on 10-11-14 in which someone from their cottage had called police, the police called the office phone and spoke to the girl working that night [redacted] to find out where the cottage was. [redacted] spoke with police as they were leaving and the police said that it had been resolved. On 10/18/14, I was out of town and [redacted] was on call again. She was cleaning in the cottage beside them. One of the residents told [redacted]'s son to come and get [redacted]. When she went over to the resident's RV spot, she was informed that they were drunk and fighting. The resident and [redacted] noticed that she was near the office parked up there and crying. On 10/22/14 it was decided for the safety of our residents that they were asked to leave. [redacted] the girlfriend came up to the office after getting the notice with her receipt in hand telling me that they didn't  have the money to leave due to paying us $1050. and some bills they had at home to pay. I also explained to her that I knew the police had been called. She said it was over a missing gun. I said then there would be a report she said no report was filed I informed her that there was nothing that I could do. I explained to her that the owners know their rights and have spoken with several people, and because we are a hotel/motel, there is no refund due to yes she paid on the 10th but even if you take the days they were staying here which would have been 12 days, 10-12 though 10-24, the cost to stay is $650 plus 15 % tax a week for 2 weeks would have been $1495.00. We called it even. She then asked for the owners number. I explained to her that the owners would not take her call, this is why the owners have a manager to handle all of this. After the girlfriend left I ([redacted]) called the police department and asked to speak to the officer that came out. Dispatch told me that they would have the officer call me. The officer called me back within 5 minutes. I explained who I was and asked him that I needed to get some information about a call the received on 10/24 from the Last Resort. We have given them several chances over all their fights that were out in public and I am sure you will see that the last fight the actions are correct for the safety of our residents and the children that stay here. It was suggested to me that this party leave from residents that said they would leave for safety and also the officer that I spoke with. I am sorry that they could not stay at the park I  had a few people that asked if he could stay and the girlfriend not be aloud to stay but as we were all outside on the Thursday before he left he was outside on his phone fighting with someone and we could all hear it and the few people said no he has to go. Again we are not use to having issues in our park like this and deal with them the best way we know how.
