After taking an "Amazon" survey in August, I was awarded with a watch for the shipping cost of $5.99 and a necklace for the shipping cost of $4.99. I received the items, and my credit card was charged. Soon thereafter I was charged $99.98 for the same watch and $89.99 the same necklace. I have since been receiving unwanted watches and jewelry with charges of $99.98 and $89.99. When speaking to a customer service rep, I was told that I enrolled myself in a subscription, and that I failed to cancel the subscription before the 14-day trial period was over. I have no idea where that agreement was and had no knowledge that I was agreeing to something so absurd. Two reps offered to continue my subscription at a 49% discount going forward. I just told them that I wanted to return the items for a full refund. They refused to allow me to return the items and issue a refund.

My husband completed a survey he received via email and thought he was going to get a free gift (a purse) for completing the survey. He unknowingly signed up for a monthly auto-shipment of a purse, with a 14 day trial period. We received two monthly recurring charges of $99.89 on our credit card. When I called their Customer Support #, they refused to refund my husband for the full amount he was charged because he did not notify them he didn't want the product within the 14 day trial period. He did not know that by completing the survey that he agreed to sign up for an auto shipment program. I told them that I would gladly send the two purses back to them. CSR told me that they would still not be able to refund us the money. The CSR agreed as a "courtesy" to refund us $49.94 of $199.78 charged. I immediately cancelled the program.

When a customer places an order on our website, the terms and conditions are clearly stated, and the customer must agree to the terms or the order will not go through_ Our offer clearly states a 14-day trial. Our records indicated this customer was outside the trial person when they contacted our customer service department. The account was cancelled 12/7/2017 per the customer's request. As a courtesy, we have issued a refund check for $199.98. Please allow 7-10 business days for the check to be received.

The end of June, 2017, *** invited me to take a survey. I do a lot of business with*** and trust them. After I answered some questions I was asked to choose between a man's watch, woman's watch or handbag. I chose the man's watch with the understanding that I was only being charged for postage (and then there was my assumption that I was dealing with ***).
There was so much traffic on the site with that offer that the transaction stalled before I could proceed further, but I did call and email *** to ask why they would make such a generous offer yet not support what could be an avalanche of online traffic. Their customer service was very supportive and they said they’d see what they could do to complete my acceptance of the offer.
Later I was sent a man's watch and assumed *** had indeed helped me complete my request. I saw the charge for $6.90 on my credit card bill and thought the transaction complete. A couple weeks later, I received another watch, so I thought *** had duplicated my request since I had contacted them both by email and by phone.
Later I found two charges on my July bill for 99.98 each. I had no idea what they were from. It was only when I received a third watch that things came together in my mind. This one had a packing slip with a "customer service" phone number. The woman informed me that by accepting the first watch I had agreed to pay full price after 14 days, and receive another watch for $99.98 each month. After much arguing (and yelling) she did agree to cancel future orders and to refund the charge for the watch I had not received.
She refused to refund me the money I had already paid, even when I insisted I would be sending the watches back. I explained all this to my credit card company, Citibank, with whom I have had a continuing account for over 30 years. Their phone representative said my request to disallow the nearly $400 in bogus charges would be investigated since this was clearly a fraud.
