Review: I opened an email for Obama Mortgage relief programs. Received a call from Legal Network, a company that recuits clients for Butler & Assoc.. They claimed that they could work with my mortgage company and help settle on an agreement to save our home. They said we have to make 3 payments of $984.22, first payment, our choice, was to be withdrawn on Jan. **, 2014. On Dec. **,2013 I contacted our agent ** at Legal Network and stated that we would have to postpone their help because there was no way we would have the money in the bank. ** assured me he would cancel the withdraw and claimed he emailed the accountant at Butler of the postponment. On Jan. ** my checking account was overdrawn almost $500 because Butler ran the withdraw dispite the notice of cancellation. Legal Network and Butler & Assoc. apologized for the mix up and that they would refund the withdraw and reimburse me for all NFS charges that would accure due to the large withdraw. I explained that I had several autopays coming out and if I wasn't reimbursed immediately I would accure several NFS charges, they assured me that they would take immediate action. 10 days go by, I contacted Butler on Jan. ** and talked to the bookkeeper; he stated he couldn't reimburse me until the deposit showed in his account, very rudely I might add. Same day, I went to my bank and got proof that the deposit happened on Jan. **, the bookkeeper said he would have to check out my information. Called my bank [redacted], [redacted], explained the problems I was having with this company and he was willing to call and talk to the bookkeeper and explain about the deposit proof and also explained the financial distress they have put me through. Butlers' bookkeeper, who was very rude, assured [redacted], my bank [redacted] that he would get a check out. Called again on Jan. ** talked to the [redacted], said she would relay message. I also faxed a copy of my checking account that showed their withdraw out of my account and all my autopays, unemployment deposit (to which did not get us out of the negative) and all of the NFS charges of $240 that acurred. I couldn't show any better proof that all of my charges were due to their withdraw on the [redacted]. I never contacted my creditors to stop the autopays because they kept assuring me that the check was in the mail, so I didn't. Finally on Feb. *,2014 I recieved a check that reimburst me for $984, no cents, and $60 of the $240 worth of NFS charges. Their letter stated that this case was closed. They still owe me $180. What really bugs me is that Legal Network and Butler & Assoc. are suppose to be companies that are out there helping families who have losted their income, have financial distress and want to save their home. Obvisiously we're broke and this company whom is claiming to help us because we're broke just took $180 of my money that I can't afford to spare. I have definately learned a valuable lesson here; "watch out for the vulters that say they can help you fly, when in fact they help you die. After several phone calls to Butler I have turned to the Revdex.com for help, please help me make them, make this right. I know $180 isn't much to some, but that was my car payment.Desired Settlement: reimburse the rest of the agreement of $180.

Review: We have been trying to work with this law office since about March of 2013 to secure a home loan modification with Wells Fargo. This pursuit has be completely less than fruitful. Every since receiving their last payment from us, the contact has diminished to almost being non-existent. We call day in and day out, leaving messages for a status update, or a simple check in to see if they have received documentation with no one answering a phone or bothering to call back. If on an off chance we happen to hear from them, it's a week or more later. When we do have a chance to speak with anyone, often times we are met with a cold, and rude distance and lack of care for the situation we happen to be in. This company doesn't care. They just want your money. We have also received no proof that they are even pursuing our case, or working on it. We only receive an occasion voice mail or email stating, "We need more paperwork" and its the same paperwork we just sent them. The only time we get any sort of contact is if we are right before a foreclosure date.Desired Settlement: We are two weeks from loosing our house, and we have no proof of their work on trying to work with Wells Fargo or us. We can't get a hold of them and we are just at wits end. We would rather just have our money back. We spent about $3000 for nothing.

Review: When I hired this Law Firm to help me with my house loan I was transferred 3 time in each step when I got to [redacted] department and her [redacted], after they asked me to provide all the information and I met them way before the dead line there was o answer from [redacted] for a month when I got sick and wrote an email stating that I will contact Froud department on there business I had an nasty response from [redacted] stating that I haven't been responding to phone calls or emails. I told her I don't know what phone she was calling or email she was sending all of her information to but I haven't got a peep from either of them in a month and I have phone records and emails to prove it. [redacted] send me a test email which was received immediately so that just proved that she was being honest with me and she send me information to resubmit the problem was when I didn't hear from them I already found a government program to help and I asked her what should I do about the Law Firm that started the ball 1st but they haven't submitted anything yet, I was advised to drop them because they can only hurt the process. I emailed [redacted] stating that there service were no longer needed and I want my last two payments refunded. I haven't heard anything back from them and I want my money back.

Sincerely,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want my last two payments back because they haven't completed anything and there services are horrible.

Review: I contacted them to find out about a loan modification to our home. I unfortunately went through the paperwork process enough that I gave them my bank account information. I did sign (electronically) a set of paperwork, however, there were other documents needed to be signed that I never signed to officially begin the process. The reason I decided to back out is they wanted a check for $1200.00, however, I was still wary of just giving them money that they claimed would go towards my mortgage. I then reviewed them (which I should have done from the very beginning--MY big mistake) and found negative reviews on them "as claiming to help people in difficult situations." I decided not to call them back to go through the rest of the modification due to the reviews I was reading and now finding out on the Revdex.com website, they've had three other complaints that they've never responded to. That also says something. A week AFTER I was supposed to go through with the payment, they took it out my bank account anyway.

I did not give them the go ahead and had the bank reverse the payment so I could pay my bills, which several bounced after this deceitful behavior from them. Again my mistake for ever contacting them in the first place!!!!!! Another thing to note, my husband is also on the mortgage loan, however, they never got his signature for the loan modification, so is anything I signed even valid??? They are still trying to bill me over $1250 for work already done??? What work besides a few phone calls?? Paperwork they already have drafted, a few phone calls between me and them, never talking to my husband about his approval in all this, AND never even getting to the point of contacting my mortgage company and they actually think they are owed this?Desired Settlement: Stop contacting me and I owe them nothing.

Review: We contracted with this company to help us not loose our home. I had been out of work since November of last year, could not find work and could not pay my mortgage. This company told me they could help me, told me they would represent me with my mortgage company, sent me tons pf paperwork to complete and return (which I did multiple times and now they have all my personal information) and charged me a total of 3205.29 for their services. When I would call to find out my status I was told they were working on my behalf not to worry. We started this process in February 2014. Well in May 2014 we received notice that we were going into foreclosure and that our court date was August. I immediately called [redacted] to let them know as the paperwork I signed signed said to do so and could not get a response... I then called my bank at that point to see if they had been working with this company as they told me they were and they informed me that they were not. I knew I had been taken so I began working with my bank to see if we together could come up with a solution where I would not loose my home. The monies I had paid this company was paid believing this company could help me work with my lender to help not loose my home and instead they took my money and my home was sent in for foreclosure proceedings. They did not delivery the services they said they would..they stopped communicating with me and it wasn't until I began working with my bank that they decided to call and write me letters. I could afford to be homeless waiting on this company but now I am out $3200 and I believe they owe me that money back as they didn't live up to the contract. Now I called multiple times during a month ...not noting the exact dates however I had to submit exact dates in this complaint as it is set up that way. Note I didn't note the exact dates and times but I called each month and was brushed off.Desired Settlement: I would like my $3200.00 back direct deposit into my account as they drafted from my account or a cashiers check mailed to me to my address.

Review: After a long lay off (2012-20130 we found it impossible to pay "everything" including our mortgage. our bank (Bank of America) wasn't willing to work with us for a LOAN modification so we had no choice but to search for someone who would. When we finally did come in contact with the law office of Brian P. Butler, it appeared we'd found a solution, we were extrememly excited, relieved and thankful, for a few months at least until all contact ended. There was a lot of paper work and an agreement was agreed upon in which three payments of $ 970.00 monthly for three months would be automatically deducted from our checking account. And for two months (June/July) that's exactly what happened. And then by the third month the money was not taken. Confused, bewildered, concerned, we began to e-mail and call by phone and my wife hand-wrote a letter seeking information as to why/what caused the halt of our agreement. Until most recently we were unable to have any contact and then by telephone a man named [redacted], very smugly and confidently told me that they sent us papers to be completed that we never replied to or answered, thus ending the agreement. Shocked, hurt, angry are a few of the emotions we felt. We are in NO way able to just take a deep breath and say, "OH WELL, I sent copys of e-mails to prove that I was responding but nobody was responding back. now he will not take my calls. Hopefully you can help us. We can prove our honesty by the amount of e-mails sent/ saved.Desired Settlement: We would like a full refund
