My name is Merrick [redacted] and I am the Supervising Attorney with the Law Office of Joe Pezzuto, LLC located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are writing in response to our receipt of Ms. [redacted]'s complaint from your Office on July 14, 2015, and...

our office thanks you for bringing this matter to our immediate attention.
As background, [redacted] purchased Ms. [redacted]'s account from the original creditor and placed this account in our office to try and reach a resolution with her.
After unsuccessful attempts to resolve this account with Ms. [redacted], we proceeded with the legal process by serving a Summons upon Ms. [redacted] on February 28, 2015. Ms. [redacted] did not formally answer the complaint but instead contacted our office and agreed to a payment plan consisting of three payments. Ms. [redacted] made the first payment but the second and third payments were not processed. We attempted to contact Ms. [redacted], but were unable to get in touch with her so we proceeded with the legal process. On or about June 9, 2015, our office received a letter from Ms. [redacted] indicating a desire to have the payment plan re-instituted. We contacted Ms. [redacted] by letter in an effort to set up the payment plan, but we were unable to reach her via telephone to set up the payments. Ms. [redacted] then responded by bringing her complaint to your office.
We do apologize for any negative experience Ms. [redacted] may have had with our office. After reading her Complaint, it appears that Ms. [redacted] would like to settle the remaining amount owed for $150.00. We have contacted [redacted] and they have agreed settle this matter for a remaining $150.00. Please let Ms. [redacted] know that she can contact our office toll free at [redacted] to settle this matter or she can contact me at [redacted] if she would like to discuss this matter.
