I am rejecting this response because: first of all the bank didn’t “Side” with [redacted] ’s OfficeThey gave the money back due to the merchant saying services were rendered to they had To and referred me to the Revdex.comAnother issue is that I never signed no paperworkI had made an appointment and when I called to confirm I was told I missed my appointmentI asked why didn’t I recieve a call? And I never got a response to go sign paperworkThis is very disappointing and I have filed a complaint with the bar association as wellI would never pay $for a minute conversation! I’ve spoken with many law offices and none of them charged that amountI was told total fee less than $4,000, $for retaining fee and he would go speak with mr Pastran then I would go sign paperworkIt was a red flag when I was unable to go sign paperworkThen him not showing at courtWhich I was in contact with another family using [redacted] and he didn’t show that day them as wellI’ve since reviewed his [redacted] reviews and found SEVERAL complaints regarding himI got an eviction notice due to this money being taking out after I requested it not too! I will not stop reporting him until recieve compensationThis is the worst service and I don’t understand how he still has a business! Families who are in need turn to lawyers for help and get screwedNo justice!

Regarding the notice received, dated November 17, 2017; no other notice was received on this matter : RE: ***.In regards to Ms** ***'s complaint they are without merit and have been already reversed by the Credit Card Company and you will see with the attached documents and the reasons
why they reversed and sided with me. MsLafaye's did get the services she retained me for, and she has gone so far as to disparage my name on line and not tell the actual truth when in fact I did exactly what I was paid forI would like you to inform her that she should take down a post that is actually untrue and is defamatory.Please see the attach documents that will explain why the CC company reversed in favor of me.If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me. This is in response to Ms*** *** The Credit Card Company did give Ms*** an opportunity to respondShe did not go further Because CREDIT CARD Company explained to her that there was evidence of services renderedPlease refer to the original information submitted. Additionally, Ms*** payment of $was for hours on the Jail Visit to her boyfriend, and that was to be credited toward the $retainer if they accepted the findings and that I would proceedFurther on his case if it was proportionally wrong in what the Public Defenders offer was versus what a private Attorney could obtain from the district attorney’s officeThe family could not afford my services any further.Also, further pursuant to California Business and Professions Code section 6148, a fee contract must be in writing anytime it is reasonably foreseeable that the cost to a client, including attorney fees, will exceed $1,(Bus& ProfCode, Sec6148, sub.(a).) Fee contracts that do not contemplate such costs and are not on a contingent basis are not statutorily required to be in writingThe deposit of 750.oo was for the services rendered at the jail and would have been credited toward a retainer of $if the family could have afforded my services to continue with the caseA new retainer would have been required for a signature, if the family hired me going forward on representing Ms***'s boyfriend. I had made an appointment and when I called to confirm I was told I missed my appointment. I asked why didn’t I recieve a call? And I never got a response to go sign paperwork. I’ve spoken with many law offices and none of them charged that amount.
