Mr [redacted] sent in a refund request several weeks agoHowever, he did not provide a phone number to reach him so that I could explain the issue we are having with this matterWe do not have a [redacted] in our systemWhen Mr [redacted] called, I told him I would gladly give him a refund if he were to provide me with a receipt since I do not have record of him retaining our firmMr [redacted] then became hostile and began cursingWhile I can understand his frustration, I need him to realize that a client is not entered into our system until they have retained our firmSince he is nowhere in our system, how are we to know he didn't just come in for a free consultation and claim he paid us? Perhaps it could be an error on our end, and I apologize if this is the case, however, a simple receipt will rectify the situationIn addition, the staff member [redacted] that Mr [redacted] is referring to has not been with our firm in over a year, so I find it odd that Mr [redacted] would wait so long to contact our firm if he did indeed request a refund back thenIf he provides us a receipt showing he paid our firm $650.00, Mr [redacted] will be refunded within seven business days
