We hired him in Oct. 2014 To modify My girlfriends Divorce to set up permanent custody of her children and child support because her husband wanted to only agree to $400 per month when state amount said it should be over $2000 a month. John T Burns indicated it was the easiest case he had ever seen. She would get the support and court cost recovered. John never set foot in a court room on this case. Never prepared a document to be presented to other atty.

This fall John T Burns indicated that if we paid another $1000 we were promised He was going to get an emergency order for child support on the case. Never happened. We had a court date John T Burns postponed with out consulting us. Just moved out almost another ½ year. When asked about back support, John T Burns indicated since there was no order in place she would not get any back support for the year we had the kids, now that court date changed year and ½ with kids. Wow wonder what would have happened if John T Burns would have filed an emergency order at beginning of this case. But did charge us another $1700.00 On Dec 7, 2115 John T Burns indicated that after over a year he had dropped the ball on this case, that it had went on way to long, After receiving only invoices till today 12/29/2015. John t burns dropped out of this case indicating it was too much for him to handle. Too hard of a case. It went from the easiest case ever too hard I have to quit and run away with my tail between my legs. Oh yes This brought our legal fees to above $5000.
